Perfect light – step by step Everything in life has two sides. Sento too. And so it adapts perfectly to you. It begins with your personal preference, your desired ratio of uplight to downlight – and your mise-en-scène can start: experience an entire new dimension of lighting design with Sento.
up / down preset
up / down presetting for double-sided wall and ceiling luminaires – any desired ratio of uplight to downlight can be set and saved in five stages via the »step« function – with full overall output. You can then dim uplight and downlight together – continuously in the ratio saved! So several luminaires in a room can be simply and precisely coordinated with each other.

Perfect light answers Light touches people. And sometimes vice versa. If you touch the light of Sento it is switched, dimmed and directed in the room. So fascinating moments are created – thanks to a sensor which perfectly understands people.

touchless control – thanks to »touchless« control Sento can be switched and dimmed with simple gestures – touchlessly and intuitively thanks to infrared sensors. two in one – Sento with light emission on both sides is equipped with two LED chips. So uplight and downlight can be independently controlled. fading – a unique feature: the full light output can be drawn from one side to the other via gesture control.

Color rendering – The perceived quality of light is determined through the quality of the rendering of the visible light spectrum. The measuring unit is the so-called Color Rendering Index ( C RI ) , natural sunlight with a CRI of 100 is the reference. The Occhio »high color« LEDs come very close to this optimum with a CRI of 95 and ensure the best possible color rendering.

Lighting effects head with single-sided light output optical lenses
The characteristic Occhio lens is absolutely glare-free and puts clearly contoured highlights ( v ersion C, beam of light 80 ° ) . With another internal spot lens the light can be focused to 40 ° ( S 40 ), and using an additional fresnel lens even to 30 ° ( S 30 ).

All Sento LED heads are equipped with an infrared sensor which makes it possible to control the head touchless with gestures ( D IM ) or to define presets ( S TEP ) .

Sensor OFF Can be dimmed via trailing-edge phase cut dimmer ( w ith Occhio converter ) . Default setting for all wall and ceiling luminaires which are switched or dimmed externally. Sensor DIM – »touchless control« The luminaire can be switched on and off by briefly approaching the light emission with your hand. Longer approach dims the luminaire continuously down and up. For all mobile luminaires and luminaires within easy reach by hand ( 1 8 W light output ) . No external dimming possible. Sensor STEP – brightness preset STEP permits step-by-step brightness setting. The same brightness can also be set for several luminaires this way. Luminaires with this setting can be dimmed via trailing-edge phase cut dimmer ( w ith Occhio converter ) . Recommended for all wall and ceiling luminaires which are switched or dimmed externally.

Sensor OFF The light ratio is fixed at 50 % uplight and 50 % downlight. Can be dimmed via trailing-edge phase cut dimmer ( w ith Occhio converter ) . Standard setting for all wall and ceiling luminaires which are switched or dimmed externally. Sensor DIM – »touchless fading« »touchless control« The luminaire can be switched on and off by briefly approaching the light emission with your hand. »2 in 1« Each side can be controlled separately, the LEDs can be coupled with a double gesture. »up / down fading« Longer approach enables continuous fading between up- / downlight possible with full use of the light output. For all mobile luminaires and luminaires within easy reach by hand ( 1 8 W light output ) . No external dimming possible. Sensor STEP – preset up- / downlight ratio STEP enables the step-by-step setting of the ratio between up- / downlight. Several luminaires can be set to the same brightness ratio this way. Luminaires with this setting can be dimmed via trailingedge phase cut dimmer ( w ith Occhio converter ) . Recommended for all wall and ceiling luminaires which are switched or dimmed externally.

In the switch position DIM, Sento LED heads can be dimmed without touching the head. The luminaire can be switched on and off by briefly approaching the light emission with your hand. Longer approach dims the luminaire continuously down and up. For all mobile luminaires and luminaires within easy reach by hand ( 1 8 W light output ) .

The STEP setting enables dimming in steps and / or changing the up- / downlight ratio.

power supply unit ( converter )
Sento LED luminaires are operated using constant voltage ( c onverter ) . Every DC voltage source with 48 V DC can be considered as a voltage converter, a converter power of at least 30 W is required per Sento LED head ( a t least 22 W for 18 W head ) . Just like low-voltage luminaires, several Sento LED luminaires can be switched parallel on the input side and operated using one joint collective converter.
dimming option
dimming option with Occhio converter The Occhio converter is perfectly matched to these requirements and can be dimmed by trailingedge phase cut dimmer. A list of all the compatible dimmers can be found at: www.occhio.de / dim_en. Other converters can also be used, the dimming options depend on the converter. Dimming options floor / table luminaires ( Sento LED tavolo, Sento LED lettura, Sento LED terra ) tavolo and lettura are supplied with a power supply plug with integrated converter ( max. 18 W ) . The luminaire‘s switching and dimming function is by means of the »touchless« dimming function on the luminaire head. terra is supplied with a controller with integrated converter and push buttons ( max. 2 x 26 W ) . The luminaire‘s switching and dimming function is by means of the »touchless« dimming function on the luminaire head or additionally via the controller and foot operation.

Sento LED »constant current« luminaires are operated with constant current ( d river ) . Every DC current source with max. 700 mA can be considered as a driver, the forward bias must be > 36 V DC. Heads with light output to both sides can also be controlled separately if required ( w ith separate switching of up- / downlight max. 350 A per LED ) .

Depending on the electronic ballast, Sento LED »constant current« luminaires can be operated using leading- / trailing-edge phase cut control, push button, DALI or 1– 1 0 V.
