Alone at home, the girl watches a local talk show discussing the ongoing ‘Red Menace’ murders. Outside, we see the men peep through her windows. When she hears noises coming from one of her rooms, she arms with a kitchen knife and investigates - leading to an ending that is as shocking as it is horrifying.

The man is aware they are there and is constantly trying to escape them, and eventually realizes the only way to escape the demons is through a woman.
