2014 ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT UMIRAY, AURORA

Areas: Sitio Singawan, Sitio Pinamaypayan, Balete, Libis, Saplot, Maksa, Maypan, Malaya, and Dayapan People Groups: Dumagat, Ilokano,Bisaya,Bikolano, and Tagalog I.Community-Based Primary Health Care •Curative Care o 146 consultations, 3 prenatal check-ups, one on one health teachings •Sitio health workers training o 5 attendees •Installation of water purifying system by Dr. Jun Garcia in partnership with Sola Gracia •Medical and Dental Services done last June and August o 2 minor surgeries, 7 circumcision o 126 people served on “Operation Tanggal-Ngiwi, Balik-Ngiti, with Dr. Lorgie Morilla and Dr. Jerry Morilla •PTB Screening o 205 children assessed, 25 with positive PPD results o Six months treatment for patients •Renovation of MAP’s Multi-purpose Center in partnership with Brgy. Officials and Community people II. Sustenance and Strengthening Phase I. Community Based Primary Health Care (CB-PHC) •15 committed Mangyan health workers, •Ensured that they are able to carry out the health tasks that have been entrusted to them. •Mostly the trained health workers are church leaders •Reminding them of the task of the church in taking part in the Kingdom building.

•Endorsement of Community Development Ministry to LGU (MHO and Brgy. Officials) •God’s Living Grace Ministry o Patients from the mountains assessed by trained health workers are being referred to their Medical Clinics o We are looking forward in helping them in their ministry among our Muslim brothers and sisters in Puerto Galera.

Community-Based Primary Health Care •Meeting with FHW’s to draw up guidelines for the organization and conducted review classes on Primary Health Care. •FHW IMCI training conducted by Mrs. Melody Yanos, IMCI facilitator, last April •Children’s Camp last May 12- 15, 2014 and attended by 48 children •Leadership Training & Evaluation last May 12- 15, 2014 with a theme “Mahusay na Karunungan sa Pagkakaisa •Christmas program last December 2, 2014 with a theme: “PAGDIRIWANG NG PAGPAPALA” o There were 75 children and 60 adults attended
