Grad Night News

MHS Seniors & Parents of Seniors! Grad Night is coming! Prices are going up! If you have not submitted a ticket reservation form and payment yet…the price of Grad Night tickets is going up from $60 to $70 after this coming Friday, 10/2/15. Please go to the MHS Bookstore and make the $60 payment before the price goes up. Checks should be made payable to MHS PTO. Please make sure to put your payment, ticket reservation form and 2 Grad Night release pages in an envelope labeled, “SENIOR GRAD NIGHT 2016” and include your seniors first name and last name on the front of the envelope and bring it to the Bookstore. MHS Chamber Singers

YOUR Marana High School Chamber Singers were selected to represent high school choral music in Southern Arizona at the 2015 ACDA Western Division Student Symposium, hosted by the University of Arizona Student Chapter of American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) on October 2nd and 3rd, 2015. Held at Catalina United Methodist Church located at 2700 E. Speedway Boulevard, the event will feature presenters from the five-state division including headliner, Dr. Jonathan Talberg, director of choral activities at California State University – Long Beach. The Friday night concert is free and open to the public and will be held at 7:30 p.m at Catalina United Methodist Church. Performing groups include Tucson Girls Chorus Mariposa and Jubilate Choirs, Marana High School Chamber Singers, CatCall A Cappella and the UA Symphonic Choir. This is a big honor for Marana to be represented in this event. We would love to see friends and family at the free concert on Friday night. Thanks for all your support for Marana’s performing arts!
