SALMON AWARD FOR ARCHITECTURE 2022

Are you planning: • A new building? • Renovations to an existing building? • A master plan? • A feasibility study? The first annual Salmon Award for Architecture will provide a British Columbia or Yukon Indigenous community with $20,000 worth of Planning and Design Services. These services can then be used to bring your project one step closer to reality, helping you to seek partners or secure funding. It will also help to determine the scope and timeline of your project.

RE Q U IRE ME NT S • The award must serve predominantly Indigenous communities. • The community must be located in British Columbia or the Yukon. • The submission must be signed by two administrators from your community.

S U BMIS S IO N D EA D L I N E All entries must be received by 4pm PST on August 10th, 2022. Jury deliberation will follow and a winner will be announced on the Fall Equinox, September 22nd, 2022.

AWARD C E RE M O N Y The winning submission will be announced at our Vancouver Studio launch party on September 22nd, 2022 at a location TBD. Please plan to join us in person or online for the party and announcement of the winner of the 2022 Salmon Award for Architecture. Following the award ceremony, Reimagine Architects will conduct a virtual or in-person design charrette with your organization in October of 2022 to develop ideas and concepts for your project. The winning entrant will be asked to provide us with additional information about their project, prior to this date, for the design team to review.
