TM Khalid Amin

Dear Fellow Toastmasters, Recently our fellow member Dr Khalid Amin published the second edition of his book of poems. It's a matter of pride and honor for all of us in the Manama toastmasters club. Congratulations flooded in from all club members in the group. When I sat down to write a congratulatory note to him, an idea struck me: Why not congratulate a poet with a poem itself ?? The following was my humble ode to Dr. Khalid Amin. Read on ... ... My Dear Friend Khalid Amin, Always at the top, you are seen, In Math & Poetry you’re keen, A professor for years you’ve been, Yet, You still look like a teen. At TMs you’re a Speaking Machine, Writing is in your every gene, Your Poetry marks many a scene, From aggressive to serene, So, Your rivals feel Enviously Green,

15

Kind-hearted and never mean, Your conscience is very clean, I just wish you would quit Nicotine, Then, cut-down on your Caffeine, & Gain weight with some Chow mien, Because you’re so thin and so lean.

May you never face situations unforeseen, May nothing disrupt your routine,

May GOD Bless You,

My Dear Friend, Professor, TM, Dr., Khalid Amin. DTM Guraz Wankadia
