Given that London is in the midst of a craft beer craze, a visit to one of the East End’s top microbreweries is a must. Founded in 2011, London Fields Brewery has grown to be much more than a brewery. They also host beer tastings, a pop-up cinema and provide tours of their operation. À Londres, la mode est aux bières artisanales : la visite d’une des meilleures microbrasseries de l’East End s’impose. Créée en 2011, London Fields Brewery est devenue bien plus qu’une brasserie. L’endroit propose des séances de dégustation de bières, une salle de cinéma « pop-up » et des visites guidées de leur entreprise.
Gone are the days when Hackney Central’s culinary offering meant a tummy-turning pasty from Greggs. Lardo brings bold Italian cuisine to the neighbourhood with fantastic pizzas, fresh pastas and a great European wine menu. Its nearby sister venue, Coppa, offers the same food on a rooftop overlooking the park. Finie l’époque où la gastronomie de Hackney Central se résumait à un friand à vous couper l’appétit de chez Greggs. Lardo fait chanter la cuisine italienne dans le quartier avec des pizzas sublimes, des pâtes fraîches et une belle carte européenne des vins. Recently opened Stories, the sister venue to Shoreditch’s The Book Club, is a hip character of a bar right on the Broadway Market strip. With great cocktails and trendy décor, this is a cool place to unwind after a day of exploring. Regular art exhibitions from emerging talent keep things looking interesting. Stories vient d’ouvrir sur Broadway Market. Ce bar branché est le pendant de The Book Club à Shoreditch. Avec ses cocktails géniaux et son décor tendance, c’est l’endroit idéal pour se détendre après une journée de pérégrination.
