inding your dream house can sometimes be a nightmare: it can be the right house but the wrong location, or a great character home that has lots of fixing up to do, or you simply can’t find what you’re looking for. Instead of searching for that ideal home that may or may not exist, why not build your own? Having a custom home built by an experienced builder lets you wake up in the house you’ve always dreamed of.

Going with a custom home gives buyers more options when it comes to the little things — the little things that make a big difference in making a house feel like a home. “If you’re going out to shop for an existing home, one out of 100 might have the features you’re interested in,” said Ted Reilly, Sales Manager for Gilroy Homes Inc. “Today we find that home buyers are much more specific on what they’re looking for in a house.” “We never build the same house twice,” he added. “Sometimes we’ll take a three-bedroom house and turn it into a one-bedroom house or we’ll take a one-bedroom house and make it into a three-bedroom home.” Going with a custom home gives buyers more options when it comes to the little things—the little things that make a big difference in making a house feel like a home.
