PERSONAL Olivia Skye Bailey was born July 22, 1990, in Clearwater, Fla... daughter of Hazel and Randy Bailey... mother was a cheerleader at UCLA, while her father played football at Livingston University... has a brother, Nick, who played soccer at Rhodes College... also recruited by Cal, New Mexico State, Ohio University and University of Georgia, but chose LMU because of the coaching staff's personality and philosophy, location, and the friendliness and cohesiveness of the team... a marketing major.
2009 (FRESHMAN) Appeared in 41 sets for the Lions as a freshman... passed out 161 assists and notched 22 kills at the setter position... assists mark placed second on the team in that category... season-high 45 assists came versus then-No. 20 San Diego on October 1... also posted a seasonbest five kills against the Toreros... served-up four aces on the season, including a pair against Houston on September 11 and two more against San Diego on October 1... posted 45 digs, highlighted by 11 on October 3 versus Saint Mary's... lone double-double of the season came against the Gaels when she teamed her 11 digs with 24 assists... active on the block, notched nine block assists, including a season-high three at Portland on October 8...
