I will blog this under the module codes ‘OUGD603’, ‘OUGD603: Design Practice’, ‘New Brief 4’ and ‘New Brief 4: Context’. I will produce a printed publication.

Evaluation: I feel that although this is one of our smallest collaborations, this has been one of the most enjoyable briefs to complete because it has been simple to research into and produce. The main part of our brief was capturing images of the town of Penistone using analogue photography and that is the main strength of this brief, as the images are well shot and using a lofi method has created images that are softer, more romantic and interesting. The main weakness with this brief is that we have not been able to print it professionally and so the options for stock is limited, and we have also not been able to develop as much written content for the publication as we would have liked. If we had to make improvements and complete this brief again, I think it would be better to spend more time on developing content and also try to source professional quality stock/print it with a professional company. As with the other briefs, working with Suzanne and Mike is effective because we have similar ideas, and the combination of our skills means that we can produce more work and more successful outcomes.
