An insert for Vogue magazine named Vogue Illustrated. The images have been hand drawn and taken from three designers featured in the current issue of Vogue. I researched into each designer and their collection in depth. With the information I found, I exaggerated their inspirations for their designs through image. Every month a new illustrator would be selected, who would research into three designers collections of that months Vogue.

The final magazine is 20 pages including the front and back cover. It is A4 and printed on to gloss and is saddles stitched.

Alexander McQueen Into the Woods The collection takes inspiration from the woods, using Black Watch tartan, flower-embroidered tutu dresses and a leaf pattern on evening coats. From research I created animal like models wearing human clothes. I went in to a wood and took pictures for the background of the magazine.

Victor & Rolf Soft Goth Gothic goes soft with chiffon,lace and black eye makeup on the runway. I created evil vampire like models to exaggerate the scariness of the gothic theme. For the background images of the magazine I went to Whitby Abby, the home of Dracula.

Vivienne Westwood Savage Inspired by Punks, skulls, bones and heavy material outfits. I created scary skeletons wearing Vivienne Westwood’s clothes, I took photos in a city centre as punks wanted to stand out and be seen.

Produced advertising for the first issue of Vogue illustrated and two mock ups of how the next two issues would look like. You would have one month to order a framed poster of one of the images in the magazine to have as a collectors item. I have proposed that the typefaces could be used on the catwalk of the designers show.
