Alzheimer’s Resource of Alaska Classes Neighborhood Memory Café meets on the third Tuesday of each month from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Wasilla Area Seniors Inc., 1301 S. Century Circle, Wasilla. A Memory Café is a place where people living with dementia and their care partners can socialize, enjoy live music, along with coffee and cookies in a relaxed setting. It is open to people living with dementia, their care partners, and individuals at risk for social isolation or depression. Palmer-Wasilla Highway, Suite 110, Palmer. Caregiving can be hard. A caregiver sometimes finds it rewarding and frustrating at the same time. And it’s easy to imagine that nobody could know what you’re going through. But we do. Join us for a professionally facilitated program to listen, learn and share your experience. Mind Matters Early Alzheimer’s Education and Support is an educational and support program for those concerned or experiencing memory loss and their caregivers. Connect with others living with memory loss in a supportive setting. Weekly meetings on Wednesdays from 10:30 to noon at the Alzheimer’s Resource of Alaska Mat-Su Office in the Trinity Barn Plaza, 10355 E. Palmer-Wasilla Highway, Suite 110, Palmer.
