Mid November begins our early winter interim, a unique session that allows students to experiment with new mediums, pursue their own projects during dedicated open studio in every department, or take unique classes not offered at other times of the year. Some students use this time to make holiday gifts for their loved ones, or give themselves the gift of time to be creative. This year, things are significantly shifting at Lillstreet. We’ve offered several new classes, remodeled the glass and textiles classrooms, and developed the teambuilding and special events department. The gallery has expanded its selection to support more artists in a variety of mediums while showcasing works through compelling and thoughtful exhibitions. Through partnerships and local events, we have connected with Chicagoans more than ever before. In November and December, we invite you to our weekly jewelry trunk shows where you can connect with local artists and collect their one-of-a-kind pieces. On November 30th, we hope you celebrate with us at our inaugural Student and Faculty Art Fair during our 37th Annual Holiday Party.
