LEDA MARIA, CURATOR

After the enorme success through the audience in Brazil, Miami, New York and Berlin. Leda Maria do Prado Curator and creator of the project

avelina sánchez-carpio

www.sanchezcarpio.com “…I had immediately recognized Avelina's work of art from the rest, not so much because of its preference location, but for the sizes she chose for her work: aprox. 0,80 x 1,00). These are sizes where other artists would only place half a painting (generally speaking Velázquez). No one could have expressed any better the faded away, torn with white over pathetic background, but still challenging, reflecting the artist's last work of anger. Goya already gives us an example at the end of his days. The socalled black-paintings are the most revealing for Goya himself. And from here he is one step away from the “Monstrosities” (with all respect) that ART has produced during XX century”. Prizes
