romotions are underway targeting industry representatives to attend SFPA’s 34th Forest Products Machinery & Equipment Exposition (Expo 2017) to be held June 14-16 at Atlanta’s Georgia World Congress Center. “The floor plan features displays of more than 150 companies and just a few exhibit spaces remain,” reports exposition director Eric Gee. “Now is the time to fill the hall with decision-makers interested in the industry’s latest equipment and technology,” he adds. March and April issues of more than a dozen trade magazines have featured display ads touting the importance of experiencing the show. Expo 2017 will be larger than the event held two years ago, totaling some 55,000 square feet. This month, ads also encourage readers to download the new Show App for helpful tools to use while on the show floor. Visitors can download the app by searching FOREST EXPO in the Apple App Store or Google Play. In addition, a direct mail campaign of the Expo 2017 Visitor Brochure is reaching out this week to nearly 50,000 industry contacts.
