Holding the degree Doctor of Philosophy earned at the University of San Carlos, Dr. Eddie R. Babor is the director of the Publication Office of the Holy Name University, Tagbilaran City. He has a strong research profile in the field of philosophy. For the past five years, he accomplished at least 31 research works published in scholarly journals for philosophy and theology in the country and abroad, the most prominent of them is the Philosophia: International Journal of Philosophy. Among his research works, two are Hirsch-indexed and five were cited in Google Scholar Citation Gadget, thereby giving his research works a global reach. His contributions to research go beyond the conduct of research itself. To advance quality research, he serves as editor-in-chief of LUMINA, a global, refereed, interdisciplinary research journal of the Holy Name University; editorial board member, PHAVISMINDA Journal; and referee, Liceo Journal: Higher Education Research, a CHED accredited journal. He was then an editorial consultant of the Philosophia; editorial board member, Liceo Journal; and referee, Siliman University International Journal and Research Review Journal of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University.
