Celebrate Recovery is for those who want to celebrate God’s healing power in their lives through the Twelve Steps and the Eight Recovery Principles that Christ taught in His message from the Sermon on the Mount. It is uniquely designed for those who are seeking to recover from a wide variety of hurts, hang-ups, habits and addictions by sharing their experiences, strength and hope with one another. The disclosure of a loved one’s homosexuality affects parents, family members and friends in many different ways. Dealing with a reality that may never have been anticipated can be challenging. St. Peter’s United Methodist Church is offering a safe and affirming setting for those who desire understanding and support as they seek to come to terms with this fact. We meet the third Thursday of each month from 7 to 9 PM, in room E225 of St. Peter’s United Methodist Church, at 20775 Kingsland Blvd in Katy. Childcare is available by reservation. Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous (FA) is a recovery program for people who suffer from overeating, undereatinand bulimia. The program is based upon the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.
