Sam Beall reports: “Christine Kesler and I are engaged to be married next summer here in Vermont. We moved here in January from San Francisco. It was a long drive in a big truck, but we’re settled in now, and really love Vermont. I’m working as an architect for an affordable senior housing developer as part of a threeyear fellowship. It’s been a really rewarding job; I feel like the work I’m doing makes a big difference in people’s lives.” Matt Brollier is living in Houston and working for the Houston City Council.

Frank Bryan is living in Houston and working in energy. Jeff Butler “is still living in Los Angeles and working as a hospital administrator at UCLA Medical Center in Westwood. In between working in the operations department for the hospital, I am soaking up the California sun and am always on the look-out for that perfect script.” Alex Carrell is finishing up his Masters in Education at Rice, (for English grades eight through twelve) and substituting at Awty, Episcopal and St. John’s on the side. Jordan Collins is still happily working on clean energy policy and project finance in Washington, “but as the Washington Examiner reported, I “cashed out” and left Department of Energy to join Mintz Levin - a Bostonbased law firm / government relations shop with a national practice in the space.” Jordan is still travelling a lot, including three weeks in Asia this fall visiting friends. Chris Creel is currently operating a law firm and art studio from 1410 West Sixth Street in Austin. “I am doing exactly what I want to do and next to nothing that I do not want to do.” Chris is acting as a professional problem solver, and he is expecting a baby boy at the end of April or beginning of May. Evan D’Amico is working in Manhattan as an attorney. Spencer English is enjoying life in Austin, residing in Joe and Alice Bailey’s “casita” (back-house). He is pursuing his MBA at the University

of Texas. He spends his free time at Town Lake with his one year old golden retriever, Earl. Nick Erwin continues to enjoy life in Houston with his family and is working at UBS. His boys, ages two and four, keep their house full of excitement. Nick and his wife Melissa are also looking forward to traveling to both coasts for the holidays with family. Walker Fair is “living in Houston, still running FUNL Marketing (a web design studio). We have also just recently created another arm of the business that is more focused on custom software applications for businesses, called Suede Software. My daughter Sadie is 19 months old and growing fast.” George Fontaine continues to work for New West Records and lives in Athens, GA with his wife Melissa. It’s been a busy year for George. He launched a new imprint record label, Normaltown Records, as a way to sign and develop up-and-coming artists. George is also working on the second annual ‘Ho Ho Ho-down’ concert at The Gramercy Theater in New York on Dec 15. He hopes to see KHS friends at another sold out show this year. David Fossas and his wife Courtney had their second son, Austin Hunter, in February. They then moved back home to Texas in May and love living in Austin. Their first son, Logan, just celebrated his second birthday. David continues to work at WeissComm Group as a communications consultant. Leon Green is “enjoying my time working with friends and family. I spend the balance of my time doing a little country dancing and enjoying time with a group of folks that go to Kaleo Church.” Michael Hanson and his wife Jennifer are expecting their third baby in late December. Connor (four yrs. old) and Bain (two and a half) are excited to be big brothers to a baby sister. Michael continues to work for Parkman Whaling, supporting its investment and merchant banking efforts in the oil and gas industry. Per Jeff Kamrath: “my wife Ginger and I are quickly approaching our one year anniversary and are very excited to see some family over the holiday’s. We recently moved back into New York City after a year in Jersey and couldn’t be happier, especially since we were virtually unscathed during Hurricane Sandy. Ginger continues to teach fifth grade at an Upper West Side private school. I continue my business endeavors as the Director of Grassroots Marketing for GameChanger, a mobile scorekeeping app for baseball, softball and basketball. I am fortunate to be able to stay involved in sports and be working for

an up-and-coming startup, which is exciting, exhausting and stressful at the same time. Besides that, I enjoy playing softball and talking trash to New Yorkers about everything, especially their sports teams.” John Labanowski is still living in Dallas and working as a hedge fund manager. On the personal side, John and his fiancé Aubrey are getting married in April. Mike Lionetti “is still with my awesome girlfriend Kristen. I bought a house in Houston Heights area. I am still working for Shell and about to start a new job working on Completions and Well Interventions in West Texas.” Joe Looke is living in Dallas working at Natural Gas Partners, an energy-focused private equity firm. Christian Luening is happily living in Boise, ID with his long term girlfriend, Kristin. Christian is playing for Snake River Rugby Club and looking to take a national title this summer. Christian is “using my philosophy degree from Brown to be a ski instructor this winter at Bogus Basin Resort, ha!” Per Kevin Madigan: “I’m back in the DC area getting my LLM in intellectual property law at GW and was recently admitted to the Maryland Bar. Jobs: 0. Wives: 0 Kids: 0.” Charlie Meyer and his wife Alison had their second daughter, Elizabeth Tate Meyer, born May 19, 2012. Their older daughter Frances is going to day school at St. Martin’s. She is two and a half years old. Charlie is still working at NewQuest Properties and is volunteering at the Open Door Mission in east Houston. Dan Meyer reports “My wife and I have recently been volunteering in various ways at Yellowstone Academy, a private, faith-based school serving some of Houston’s lowest income families. And at work, we recently started construction on a small retail development at the University of Houston. With all of the

growth the University is experiencing, it’s an exciting time for our project.” Mayes Middleton reports: “Not much has changed, Macy and I are enjoying living in Houston with our two rescue dogs. I’m still working in the family business. We just got back from a trip to China and Japan and are headed to Hawaii for New Years.” Ashton Mossy is living in Houston with his wife and two dogs. According to Ashton, “until I get my PGA card, I am still working for the family business: car dealerships - Nissan specifically. I am trying to travel and enjoy the freedom before any kiddos - went to France earlier this year and Bahamas for Christmas. I am still strumming the guitar, grilling, hunting, and playing poker with the other yahoos from our graduating class.” To quote Cyrus Nasr, “Same old song and dance here. Running my restaurant and the golf course.” In January, Brian Ogilvie will take a brief leave from the Broadway production of “Mary Poppins” (where he covers Bert and many other roles) to play Eddie Ryan in “Funny Girl” in Vero Beach, Florida. Then it’s back to cleaning the chimneys of London in February. Carter Old and his wife Henley were blessed with their first baby, Owen, in August. Both Henley and Owen are healthy and doing great. Carter also completed his part-time MBA program through UT in Houston in July, so the timing couldn’t have worked out any better. “It’s a relief finally being done with school, and I love being a dad; hence, life is good!” H.D. Pappas is married and working as a broker in Houston. Ben Port “left PepsiCo and New York in March and moved to Chicago to join Robert W. Baird. The family is getting settled in the mid-west and Lara and I are expecting baby number two in the spring.” Rahul Sheth is still in 41
