I was talking about the film to a guy I had met at a cocktail party, and he said his wife had been a producer at CNN and was looking for projects to get involved with. That was delivered from the universe – that was Emily Probst Miller. She was the primary producer on the film and the writer/director. She was the one who looked at everything we had and brought her skills to the table. She said, ‘All right, I know what you’re trying to accomplish here, but we’re going to have to interview some more people, and we’re going to have to do some character
development and really go for emotional side.’ She was really helped round it out for us.”
