Good Habits What we do everyday that benefits us and others are good habits. These are things we do that are good for us mentally, physically and emotionally. For instance, getting the proper rest each night can cause us to be more productive the next day. Eating properly, a routine exercise and drinking plenty of water can be very beneficial to us.

Bad Habits There are no bad habits that cannot be changed into good habits. If we put our mind to it, we can change bad habits by replacing them with doing what is good. Normally, bad habits are something we do consistently that breaks down our body. Although it is not good, it becomes an every day need in order to function and seems very difficult to break. If we put our mind to doing what is good, we can change for the better.

Problem Solving: Each problem must be weighed differently. What worked before might not work this time. Gather the facts of the issue(s) of what happened or what is happening. Plan to come to a solution quickly otherwise the problem can go on and on for days at a time. Remember to stick with the facts because any other information will make matters worse.

happening again. If it happens again, you can approach it from a better perspective. Some times when you see and hear something that you experienced before, you know how to prevent it before it escalates in to something bigger. “NIP IT IN THE BUD.

This solution might not work for every problem because some problems have Once you see what is really going on, to run its course before you can move on, and in the meantime hold on to your you can see how to eliminate it from PEACE.

THOUGHTS: a Pattern: Thinking Outside the Box What we think about everyday can become a reality. If our thoughts are always negative, it can create a world that is false causing us to be trapped in a world that is inside a box limiting our thinking. There is nothing wrong with keeping things in perspective but limitations all the time can make us never think outside the box.

Positive thoughts about life can help us accomplish great things. In spite of obstacles, we will focus on how to get pass the obstruction. As we grow we will experience more and more difficult situations to stop us in our progress of reaching our goals. Therefore, create a box and place inside of it life's circumstances that should have limitations.

Then place four boxes on each side of the box to place the goals you want to accomplish.

Once you have accomplished these goals put boxes outside of those boxes. This way you will be able to still be able to protecting your goals while creating and setting more goals to accomplish without limiting yourself in just one box.

Now thinking outside the main box can become a positive reality.

Refuse to be boxed in a trap of a world that dictates what you cannot do. Come outside of the four walls of life and reach for more than what others believe. What works for one might not work for others, so think for yourself and do not look for others to valid you. Kathy McClure

Audrey Woodley, Founder of Changing Oasis, Inc. and FEW Entertainment, is a motivational speaker, life coach, radio talk show host and entrepreneur. Deeply rooted in her faith and the belief that hard work and perseverance are the keys to success, Audrey shares that philosophy with everyone she encounters professionally and personally. Faith, she often tells her Life Coaching clients, is one of the most valuable tools and building blocks of any success when applied persistently and consistently. Audrey is smart, witty, and charismatic and loves people. Audrey has gained wisdom about not giving up on one’s dream through her own personal experiences and the astute observation of the experiences of others. She is always willing to share that wisdom and her gifts and talents with others to help them gain an understanding of the need for a Life Coach. She explains that many pitfalls are inherent in the lack of planning for one’s success but they can be avoided with the proper motivation and accountability measures that a Life Coach provides. Audrey has been an educator for more than 17 years. A high school math teacher for most of her teaching career, she became certified in AVID and IB Level l to encourage and teach inner-city students strategic ways to succeed in high school by achieving higher test scores and good grades by utilizing successful test-taking techniques and helping them develop disciplined study habits. In 2008, she earned a Master’s Degree in School leadership from Concordia College. Audrey founded Changing Oasis, Inc. and used her graduate level education in leadership to help more women attain leadership roles in their communities, jobs, churches, etc. which provides leadership coaching, training and seminars. She continues to build a legacy of charitable giving and empowering others to reach their personal goals. When celebrating Changing Oasis, Inc. annual anniversaries Audrey often incorporates charitable causes in the celebration (Back to School Supplies and Christmas Toy Drive). Donations, proceeds or percentages of proceeds go to support children and families in need. Some of her other community outreach initiatives include but are not limited to clothing and shoe drives and literacy programs that target adults and high school drop-outs.

One of her most rewarding charitable events included hosting a donation drive in cooperation with the President’s National Day of Service 2013. Audrey coordinated an event called “Warming Hearts” which was listed on the National Day of Service Register on the internet and was successful in collecting more than 2 car loads of donations from generous people all over the city and surrounding suburbs. The proceeds from this event were given to temporary residents of a West Side homeless shelter. Audrey has the “gift of gab” and she turned her passion for speaking and motivating people into a job as a host of her own radio talk show on intllectualradio.com. Audrey has been featured in several magazines that focus on women entrepreneurial ventures and has been invited to speak at various functions including several

workshops presented by Senator Kimberly Lightford specifically the "Men Uplifting Men". She was a guest speaker at GHGF Prayer Breakfast, a Life Coach speaker for "Make-Up & Martinis event, and key-note speaker for Changing Oasis, Inc. events. Presently Audrey is working hard to build a “Literacy 4Change” program which will help bring literacy skills to hundreds of community residents who failed to earn a diploma because they dropped out of high school. This program will also include afterschool and Saturday reading programs for grammar school students. This year Audrey is looking forward to celebrating her 4th year Anniversary and growing the various aspects of her non-profit organization. She is excited to use social media and to offer other business owners the opportunity to learn how to use social

media effectively to build their brand. Audrey’s goal is to have all of these much needed programs and training under one roof. She is currently looking for a facility to continue her dedication to promoting, connecting, and empowering women everywhere through her commitment to education and social change. Audrey can be booked for speaking engagements and workshops on teen mentoring, women empowerment, leadership, entrepreneurship, technology and social media by logging on to www.changingoasis.org for more information.

Get Motivated How? Hire a Life Coach. Why? Because you have a dream and you want to see it come to fruition. When? Starting today! Life brings everyone their fair share of challenges and some might even argue that they’ve been burdened with more hardships than others. But it is not how many challenges you’ve faced in the past or will face in the future; instead, your success in life is determined by how well you meet those challenges. Successfully meeting life challenges requires one to utilize one’s own specialized problem solving skills or maybe even learn new ones to appropriately address unfamiliar situations so that one can further advance to a higher level of achievement. On the other hand, failing to meet or overcome life’s challenges is a missed opportunity to adapt to new, changing or different circumstances and will undoubtedly leave that person stuck in limbo. They may also feel demoralized by their failure and uncertain about how to change their situation. When people fall into a “rut”, it only means that they’ve allowed themselves to become accustomed to and comfortable with their lack of achievement and a life of little to no success. Just like some people make plans to succeed, others don’t make similar plans, so they fail. To do nothing is inviting failure. This “Do-Nothing” personality needs someone to hold them accountable to the things they need to do in order to become successful. The solution to their problem is to hire an objective life coach who will be solution-driven and dedicated to motivating and helping them achieve their goals through redirection and personal accountability.

When I was young I would watch the Olympic Games with great interest in the Women’s 400 mile relay competition. I wanted to grow up and compete in those races but at the time I didn’t understand the lifelong dedication, training, hard work and sacrifices required to reach that level of success and physical superiority. I like to compare succeeding at anything to training for the Olympic Games. Most athletes hire professional coaches to train them to achieve their ultimate goal of becoming an Olympic gold medalist. A lot of times these coaches identify what the athlete is doing wrong and redirects them in an effort to correct and improve their skill and enable them to be more competitive and successful in their sport. I believe that success in anything requires retraining the mind to identify and avoid pitfalls that lead to failure. One of the most important aspects of life coaching is when the life coach helps his/her client avoid the personal pitfalls of low self-esteem, self-doubt, lack of direction and dedication.

As a child, I use to love dancing, singing, and acting. I found these activities to be a lot of fun. My dance instructor would make me and my team members practice every day until we got the moves just right. We didn’t like the long practice hours but the activity became even more enriching and enjoyable when we got the chance to perform our dance moves in front of an applauding and cheering audience. In short, we got to show off our talent! This is one of the most important aspects of success. Who will applaud my accomplishment? In others words: Who will validate me? Some people may frown upon the idea that most people need validation to feel that they have succeeded at something. But please remember that validation comes in various forms such as: a job promotion, a raise, recognition, gratitude, admiration, attaining wealth, etc. these are nevertheless different forms of validation. The more validation a person receives the more dedicated they become to their goal. A life coach will help redirect a person’s need for validation from an external need (needing the validation) to an internal need (the need to utilize one’s inherent strengths and skills to overcome obstacles and living up to one’s potential while living out one’s purpose).

Today and every day I choose to win. I chose to compete harder and smarter to trump my last accomplishment. I make plans to advance to the next level no matter how small and incremental my steps may be. I look at my life’s journey with big-eyed excitement and joy about overcoming obstacles and stepping over pitfalls. I am a born winner, so I can’t die a loser and every accomplishment in between will be accompanied by awards and trophies. Every challenge I begin starts with “get ready, get set, go!” and ends with accolades reserved for champions. I didn’t wake up to this brave new attitude. I created it; so, I have the power to keep making it better. I have this attitude made for latitude advancement because of my faith in God and because of the confidence that my life coach helped to stir up in me. So much so that I was able to meet my own life’s personal challenges of a failed marriage, bankruptcy, dysfunctional family, family illnesses to go on and become a Life Coach, Founder and President of Changing Oasis, Inc., a radio talk-show host, Today I am smarter and more successful. I’ve trained myself to use my skills and talents as a ladder to climb over brick walls because busting through can be exhausting. I can coach and train you to tap in to your own personal power to help you meet your life’s challenges and succeed. By: Kathy McClure On the right-hand side of the street as I stand looking outside my living room window, I see a Lexus RX 450h truck that I’ve never seen on the block. It is so noticeable that it caught my attention as soon as I stood walking toward the window. Looking back toward the dining room table at piles of projects that I started and haven’t finished, with disappointing thoughts of the progress I’ve made, causes me to feel disconnected. Somewhat dissatisfied with feelings of disenchantment of being way behind of where I want to be, as I walked to the table away from the window, I started laying hands on each stack of papers saying out loud: • LANDSCAPING BUSINESS; • CONSTRUCTION COMPANY; • ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN • MANAGEMENT CO.; • ACCOUNTING FIRM; and • INTERIOR DESIGN COMPANY Each day that goes by I get further and further behind of my dreams of becoming something bigger than I could really imagine. I ask myself, what keeps stopping you from starting at least one of the companies? I can never answer the question because I really do not know. It is in me, but I do not know how to make it manifest. Every single day that goes by I know that I am going to be something great, but finishing what I’ve started is one of the most difficult things I’ve had to face. Is it that I fear success, or is it because I have doubts about who I am? Frustrated by my thoughts, I walk away from the stacks of paper only to pick up the bottle of alcohol that sits on my nightstand for me to take a shot before bed and when I awake.

I feel the alcohol as I gulp going down slowly throughout parts of my body that are aching screaming to become a success. I keep drowning myself in the libation of sorrows of never getting to the place I believe I should be. How many times will I continue wasting away in this bottle that is really a depressant that causes my emotions to go on a rollercoaster? Up and down / down and up. When I am up, things are going great. When I am down, it becomes the worse day of my life. I grabbed a piece of paper that sits opposite of the bottle of alcohol looking around for a pen that works. Each pen I picked up didn’t work, so I threw each one back to back against the wall harder with more strength behind the momentum of my frustration until I finally took the same strength that it took to get upset and begin to write a "Plan of Action" as soon as I found a pen that works. Then from a place of disappointment, I listed affirmations for me to speak aloud every day. 1. I have become faithful over a few things so, therefore, I will become a ruler over many; 2. Inside of me is greatness waiting to come out; 3. My focus will be on steps to take to accomplish my goals; 4. I am bigger than what I think; 5. I will encourage myself on a daily basis; 6. I am important and what I have is needed; 7. I will love myself even if I fail; 8. I will look at adversity as an opportunity; 9. Carrying this big responsibility

will strengthen me throughout the day; and 10. Each day I will add to this list to declare my best life. Every day that I spoke these affirmations before bed and in the morning instead of taking shots of alcohol, I received great strength to start tackling one pile at a time. Two weeks have gone by and I have already started the Landscaping Business. Where I live there are tons of acres that need manicuring. I’ve started right in my own neighborhood. As I build my clientele, I am able to file the pertinent papers with the state and the government to receive my EIN and be in good standings with the state. Life is different now that I am not walking in fear. I started a savings so that I can pay cash for a BMW truck fully loaded. The more I focus on servicing others, the more my vision becomes bigger and bigger. Now, when I look outside the window I enjoy the scenery instead of looking at where I lack.. It is strange how you see life from a perspective of what you are going through and not the way it really is. This is a fiction story of a man with vision but could be someone’s reality.

Feeling Great About Life Life has its ups and downs; its triumphs and tragedies; smooth transitions and struggles; and its good times and bad. Because of this, we must zero in on what is really bothering us. Getting to the root of things could take no time or it can take a life time. Once we face the root of the problem and work our way from there, we never have to go back to it. Growing up on the West side of Chicago really taught me a lot, but it seemed as if I never learned until life started knocking me on my back. Waking up to rats taking my food and demanding that the space I was in belonged to them wasn’t a good way to come up. I never knew that the environment I grew up in was a trap that was set that didn’t contain cheese but was a place that no one dreamed. Drugs being sold on the streets like candy while drug addicts tried talking everyone into following in their footsteps. I fought a good fight on the way to the bus stop just to finish my High School education. Night crawlers were still out from the night before. Prostitutes and pimps trying to convince me to work the street, only to find that I was smart enough not to pay attention to all the money they were telling me I could make. Frustrated with my living conditions, I decided to try some of what I saw only to see myself deeper and deeper into the abyss of destruction. The more and more I did what everyone else was doing, the more and more the tenacity inside of me kept pushing me to finish school. It didn’t matter how late I stayed awake, I pushed myself to finish.

light would continue to shine in the midst of darkness. It wasn’t until I made up my mind to force my body to stop leading me down a wrong path that I developed strength and started cutting things out cold turkey. Every time something happened, I wanted so badly to go back, but I made a promise that where I was is not where I was going to end up.

Once I graduated, my experiences became worse than ever before. Every pain I felt kept taking me back to my old ways. I did not know how to come from under what I knew. Every time I revisit the old place of familiarity, I knew that if I did not come from this that I would grow old doing the same thing day in and day out. The more my mind did not want to, my body kept wheeling me in to a place of deprivation.

I begin to think about what I could become and what I needed to do to reach my goals, so I went back to school which gave me a sense of direction. Before finishing school, I had already landed a position. This position took me to where I am today after twenty something years later.

In the interim of all of this, I would study my Bible because that is where I found peace and comfort. As I studied the Word of God, a

Poetically Speaking: You need Him in the early hours for guidance and direction for His blessings upon your heart – you need Him in the night’s hour to commit the days happenings into His hands to remove the burdens of them and to leave them for Him to continue working out. You need Him mostly during the busy hours of your day to receive His Grace and Tranquility and Wisdom. PRAY ALWAYS! Ms. Rae

WHAT AM I SAYING Words Have Power to Bring Things into Existence Every night before going to bed, Troy would always go over his day to see if he said something to cause his day to go the way it did. Contemplating how he will handle the next day, Troy remembered something he said a week ago. Then it hit him. “Things are going the way they are going because of the words that I am saying. I talk good about everyone else’s situation, and when it comes to mine, I have nothing really great to say. I must start saying what I want to see not what is really happening.” Everyday Troy tried speaking a language that will dictate his future of great success, and every time he caught himself saying the opposite.

It is not up to the job you work to provide an income to pay all your bills. There is no limit to the amount of money you can make. Create something that others need and make it a commodity. Troy eventually came up with TV/media projects to assist others with getting their information out to the public. His company included branding other companies who are interested in being on Social Media. Once he came up with this idea, it turned into an empire that keeps building and building. Now he has over 200 employees assisting him with managing the company across the world. Although this is a fiction story, it can become someone’s reality.

The amount of Troy’s bills were exceeding what he had coming in, so he would always say, “I am not sure how I am going to pay these bills.” Instead of saying what can I create that is a need for others and put a price on it.

What are you saying out of your mouth about your situation?

FREE AT LAST ~ THE TRUTH HAS MADE ME FREE www.drgproductions.weebly.com

I specifically wrote this book to enhance awareness that men and women have the same types of problems and are not alone when it comes to emotional pain. My desire is to see people made free from bondage by the Word of God. THIS BOOK CONTAINS A TWIST!!! Can you identify the twist? If you can, please email me at: drslgproductions@sbcglobal.net.

This workbook was written after a life-changing, successful Sharon Graham Ministries Conference where I presented a challenge to the attendees and later received numerous testimonies of profound results. You can take the challenge, picture yourself being where you want to be. It is all about you. This becomes your own personal workbook. When you order, request an autographed copy. You may email your testimonies to: drslgproductions@sbcglobal.net.
