The amount of friendships forged and strengthened at CHEC was amazing. All of the teams had a mutual understanding, and we all had a blast. A shout-out to the rest of the Weekly team: go Team Orange CTB Doorhinge!

Maple Springs Bible Camp By Jennica Wlodarczyk Although none of us at the Weekly can claim to visiting the Maple Springs Bible Camp more than once this year, we'd all have to agree that our time at the camp was absolutely fantastic. Located in a woodsy pocket in Peachland, the camp was homey, rooted, and filled with the smell of sweaty teenagers. I'm kidding. (Although seriously, hiking up a mountain three times a day does make one perspire.) Each activity we participated in was full of laughs, from Star Wars Outpost to Archery to GPS Geocaching. We had the opportunity to perform ridiculous stunts with our friends, and meet new people through the heartening experience of shooting marshmallows from our nostrils. Perhaps the most important part of camp was the fact that it was centred around the One we all have in common, Jesus. I would love to take this moment to encourage you all to come to the youth camp at next year's CHEC. Not only will it give you a break from school,

but it will leave you with an experience you'll not soon forget. Make sure to check out Maple Springs Bible Camp at their website, www.maplesprings.ca. If you decide to sign up for one of their actionpacked summer programs, make sure to tell Ducky that Team Orange sent you. Cheers!
