Intimate Acoustic Venues If in the mood for a quiet, serene setting in Grand Teton National Park, Dornan’s in Moose is the ticket. Well established as a local jazz hotspot, The Granary at Spring Creek Resort features Jazz Night on Friday nights with Pam Drews Phillips Trio as well as Saturdays (and occasional

The Rose, a posh bar with early1900s décor and a deliberate contemporary stamp, is housed in the same space at the Pink Garter Theatre and hosts live jazz combos on Wednesdays (9 p.m.), a Salsa Dance Night on Thursdays (9 p.m.), and local DJ VertOne on Saturdays (10 p.m.). These nights at The Rose are free of charge.

Resort Venue The Trap Bar at Grand Targhee Resort primarily offers après-ski music three or four days a week, though occasional night shows liven up this Alta, Wyoming slope-side bar. Featured shows include Fox Street Allstars (Dec. 27-28), Musketeer Gripweed (Dec. 31), West Water Outlaws (Jan. 25-26), and This Must Be The Band: A Talking Heads Tribute (March 16).
