Warm and sexy back together again BY ABBIE MILLER Just because it’s cold doesn’t mean we have to abandon our style sensibilities. After a long day of trudging in the snow it takes fortitude to go the extra mile for a sassy look, but it doesn’t have to be as arduous as you think. How does one feel and look sexy when it’s twenty below? The answer is to have some key staples in your wardrobe that are as warm and easy as putting on that Patagonia or favorite beanie. And a set of deep red lips never hurt to amp your day to night style. This season I have spotted Jackson women wearing the reinvented sweater

tunic. This new style of dress offers a chic counterbalance to the clunky and all too androgynous cable knit sweater. Look for flat wool and soft knit options that aren’t too bulky and cleverly show off one of your favorite assets. For instance, at Queenie and Co. I found a black wool embellished sweater dress that had a plunging v-back to draw the eye. Or go for a knit mini skirt with a sleek top and layer with boots and chunky jewelry. I spotted local graphic designer Jenny Francis sporting a similar attitude, rocking an off-the-shoulder, chestnut-colored knit dress.
