GRIMSHAW (STONE), MARGUERITE (Jun ’61) Spouse: J. D. Stone 718 Park Ave., Holland, MI 49424 616‐403‐7213 Marguerite is a retired teacher. She says the best thing about school was that it didn't last forever. Band and Orchestra were fun, and the swimming team was rewarding. She’s enjoying life – sailing, skiing, cycling and hiking. HAMZEY (ASHBAUGH), SUE (Jan ’61) Sue has been a Secretary for a CPA firm for 50 years. Her husband of 35 years passed away on Christmas day 2010 after a long battle with a massive stroke and cancer. She has a wonderful, handsome son, lovely daughter‐in‐law and the most adorable little two granddaughters. HILL (CHOPP), BEVERLY (Jun ’61) Gladwin, MI Beverly says she raised her family (Ed, Ken and Lisa) and now she is enjoying her grandchildren and great granddaughter. She works part time in a store. She still likes to fly but doesn't get a chance to do it. She did parachute last summer and loved it. She hopes to go on a hot air balloon ride this summer. She also likes white water rafting. HILLIER, GARY (Jun ’61) Spouse: Holly 2947 N Lake Shore Dr, Harbor Springs, MI 49740‐9121 231‐526‐7901 www.macduffandmurphy.com mhm@bellsouth.net Gary married in 1964 to Leila Saide who passed away in October 2008. He joined Ford Motor traveling the world working in Manufacturing Engineering of Tractors and Special Military Equipment until 1981. He later started his own executive search firm in 1987 and has spent the time since working with Fortune 500 companies in locating senior executives. He married again in 1986 to Holly (Mickelson) Hillier and now has two children (Marie and Gary), one stepson (David) and three grandchildren. He is very active in sports playing basketball, tennis and racket ball. He and his wife summer in our home in Harbor Springs and Winter in Venice Florida. HODGES (WALKER), BETTY (Jun ’61) Spouse: Charles Walker 19178 Beaverland, Detroit, MI 48219 313‐535‐6462 sasha1916@yahoo.com Betty retired and is really loving life and so very blessed. She has been married to her husband for 25years. She has a pet poodle named Sasha – her baby. Betty remembers the New York City senior trip with Gloria Giles. Marline Hickey, and Marva Bruce. They took the chaperone seats on the bus. When they returned to school, the kids said none of them would be graduating. She went home upset and told her mother. In the end, her mother went to the school to talk to Ms. Frasier and found out it wasn't true.
