HUSA, GORDON (Jun ’60) 7525 Biscayne Avenue, White Lake, MI 48383 248‐887‐0191 248‐310‐1588 (Cell) gbhusa22@aol.com Gordon worked at GM as an auto designer for 43 years, retiring in 2005. He was married for 43½ years to Barbara Kolehmainen (Southfield High). He has two children: Eric (1968) and Krista (1971). He also has two grandsons: Bret (2007) and Brody (2009). He moved to White Lake in 1974 and built a house on Brendel Lake. He babysits two days a week for his grandsons. Gordon was one of the originators of the Delta Xi fraternity. He was a member of the Alpine Valley Ski Patrol for 30 years, which entitled him to a lifetime season pass. After his wife Barb passed away in April 2009, Alpine Valley became his second home in the winter. He skis 3‐4 times a week and enjoys golfing in the summer with Jim Schropp. He has kept in touch with Wesley Guy, Bob Pisoni, Dave Coyle and Jim Morse. Jagger (1962) JOHNSON (BIBBY), KAREN (Jun ’60) 945 E Maple Avenue, Miamisburg, OH 45342 937‐866‐1024 klb@hotmail.com After graduation from Wayne State University, Karen taught Jr. High Science for two years. Over the next 20 years, she substituted in secondary schools in Michigan, Missouri and Ohio. In 1989, she obtained her LPN degree and worked part time in a nursing home. Karen met her husband, Dan (a Troy graduate), in a ballroom dance class at WSU, and they just celebrated their 45th anniversary in July. In 1995, she started working part‐time as a clerk in a craft/gift shop. Throughout the years, she has enjoyed being a full‐time wife and mom, including both cub and girl scouts, Sunday school teaching, choir, room mothering, volunteer gardening, etc. They have traveled to Hawaii, Germany and Japan and have traveled around the USA with their camper for many years. They enjoy gardening, long walks, old movies, and scrap booking. Their lives are quiet now and Dan’s health is failing. Karen has three children: Sandi (retired AF M/Sgt – X‐ray technician), Tom (retired USMC M/Sgt. – guard and armorer at the Perry Nuclear Power Plant), and Suzzi (BS Biology – teaches at local community college). They have four grandchildren.
