DAINES (CRABB), JUDITH (Jan ’62) 43625 Hanover Court, Canton, MI 48187 734‐453‐0073 Jcrabb968@comcast.net Judith attended Wayne State University, earning Bachelor's and Master's degrees, then worked as the children's librarian at beloved Highland Park McGregor Library for five years before quitting to raise her twins. When they entered high school, she went back to work at the Plymouth District Library, where she remained for 18 years, retiring in 2006. Since then, she has been enjoying every minute of retirement: traveling with her husband all over the country, having time for hobbies, and spending lots of time with her two granddaughters. Judith has two children: Jason and Jennifer (1973). Her favorite thing regarding school is to brag to her grandchildren that she was the Valedictorian of her high school graduating class. She says that's to impress upon them that their Grammy loved school and worked hard to get good grades – always hoping some of that will rub off on them! DAVIS (AQWA), MARY LOU (Jan ’62) Spouse: Barry Aqwa (Jan ’60) 38915 Horton, Farmington Hills, MI 48331 248‐489‐7062 mlaqwa@yahoo.com After graduating from HPHS, Mary Lou worked for two attorneys in the Medical Arts Building. She married her high school sweetheart, Barry Aqwa, in 1963. She enjoys traveling – did Europe for many years and now she and Barry do the Islands. She is self‐employed as the Office Manager at their mechanical contractor firm. She has two sons and four grandchildren (granddaughters, twins ‐ 14 yrs old and one granddaughter 10 yrs old; and one grandson 10 yrs old). DOVLET (SCHNOES), CATHERINE (Jun ’62) 18278 Swiss Drive, Apt C, Spring Lake, MI 49456 616‐846‐8583 cschnoes@hotmail.com Catherine lived in Highland Park her entire school life. She believes there was such a great advantage growing up in HP, seeing that the people she grew up with were around most of her life. Families didn't move out of the area frequently. The kids you went to school with went to your church and lived in your neighborhood. She says “We were able to walk to each other’s houses without any fear. The only thing we had to remember was to be home ‘before the street lights come on’.” They were truly the best of times. Catherine attended HPJC, worked for Ex‐Cell‐O Corporation for 8 yrs. She married Robert Schnoes (banker) in 1966. She has been widowed since 1992. She moved from Farmington Hills with her last position (advertising executive) to the Muskegon area where she worked for 10 years until company down‐sized in 2009. She has one daughter: Susan (1971) a USFSA skating professional currently in Bloomfield Hills and Novi ice arenas. Two grandsons: Brendan (6) and Aidan (3).
