why consign? SUBSTANTIAL VALUE we focus on “good to great” pieces which have substantial value but no longer fit in size or function. The auction alternative only works well for real collectibles and donation does not generate a usable tax deduction.

CONFIDENTIALITY pieces are displayed without attribution. The only people who will know are you and us. We take this very seriously.

NO ESTATE SALE FRENZY best value can be achieved in a calm environment where customers can browse and evaluate suitability of items at their leisure—and return multiple times. Instant decisions lead to lower prices for sellers.

why courage? WEBSITE/MARKETING our website, fairly unique for consignment shops, has our current inventory and tearsheets for many items. We also use relevant digital and social media avenues to increase exposure for sellers, especially interior designers.

PHOTOGRAPHY pieces are professionally photographed in our studio within 3 days of arrival and posted to our website to allow ease of browsing.

LOCATION at 3632 Lake Ave (across from meier’s tavern), just west of the Edens Expressway, on the North Shore of Chicago in wilmette.

PICK UP & DELIVERY schedule our economical and reliable pick-up/delivery service.

WAREHOUSE climate controlled industrial warehouse with a ground floor garage door. <

The Process VALUATION We welcome quality items of any design period, in good condition, that appeal to today’s buyer.

PRICING Through examination and research, we will estimate a suggested starting price. If consigned, this price will reduce 10% every 30 days. Designers are offered a 15% discount.

AGREEMENT If you accept our estimate of value, we will jointly execute a consignment agreement for 120 days.

GETTING ITEMS TO SHOP bring items to the shop during our business hours or schedule our affordable pick up service (rates vary based on location) please inquire for estimates.

PAYMENT Upon the sale of your consigned pieces, you will be notified by email or phone. Checks will be mailed on the 10th of month following sale. <

OR BRING YOUR ITEMS to our warehouse for an on-site evaluation. make note of our business hours or call ahead if you plan to bring larger items.

OR SCHEDULE A VISIT for a “one-time only” complimentary home visit for us to evaluate and price your pieces. visits will be scheduled at our discretion based on proximity, quantity of pieces, and availability. <
