Easter Bunting
Chris from our Jellypark Design Team has made some beautiful Easter bunting and here she shows you how she created it along with some top tips. We have lots of Easter images waiting at the Jellypark store for you to instantly download and get crafting your own Easter bunting!
You can start creating your bunting with a die if you have one‌
To make a larger pennant without a die, cut a piece of card stock 5" x 7". I placed a small mark in the center (2-1/2") of the bottom of the card stock. Line up the card stock in your cutter so that you are cutting from the top left corner to the bottom center.

If you're using a die cut, simply cut out a patterned inside piece with the die. If you are making your own pennant cut a piece of patterned paper the same way you cut the card stock, the line the edge up on the first cutting line and cut.
For either pennant put adhesive on the back side of the patterned paper.
Place the patterned paper in the center of the cardstock and adhere it.
To get the outside the die effect place your die where you want the cut to be. Lightly mark around the edge of the die up to the image. Make the mark an inch or so on each side of the piece that will be outside the die.

Fussy cut around the part of the image that will be outside the die and the part that will lie on top of the die when you replace the die.
Gently place the balloon on top of the die and reposition the die to its original spot, lined up with your pencil marks. Then run it through your Big Shot.
The edge that is covered by the die will look like a mat when the image is removed from the die.
Before removing the image from the die sponge distress ink around the edge.
Use dimensionals to adhere the image to the pennant.
Use a strong adhesive for ribbons and lace.
Once it's hanging you don't want the trim to fall off‌
Use a border punch or die to create a side trims for your pennant.

Trim the edge protrudes and repeat the trim on the other side.
Line up the corners of two of the pennants. With a paper piecer poke a hole through the two pennant and use a brad to connect them.
Pick embellishments. If you have a wire cutter you can use it to remove the shank on some very cute buttons.
