Does Wisdom exist in the East? 2 Cor 4:4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. # John 17:21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. Satan shrouds Christ and spreads the false word and has been misleading Christians since 1950 years. The evidence of this devil's work is the various sects present in the Christianity, other wise all Christians should have been one. As proclaimed in John 17:21 if the word of God has not come true it only shows the influence of Satan. We have to think whether the word of God, which is clothed in common language, could not be understood by the laity. Is it the influence of Satan, the anti God. Though we have the word of God in the form of Bible, in front of us we are still being subjected to Satan's influence. Beginning with Adam till the end of world from the Bible that man never has been in the control of God. God promised Abraham that he would be blessed with plenty, however Abraham through Jacob begot Israel and Israel shall spread his bliss. # Gal 3:16 The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. The Scripture does not say "and to seeds," meaning many people, but "and to your seed," meaning one person, who is Christ. Israelites knew about Christ and they waited for the messiah. During this period to the land of Judah, came non-Israelites from the east and met Herod, the king. They requested the king to shows them the chosen one and they have come to worship him. These words stirred the king Herod and other Israelites. While the galaxy is full of crores of stars one can never understand how the men from east descried the star of the king? How did they know that it was the star of the Christ? And what was the difference? How could the men from the east decide about a particular star? Such doubts pests us even today, as they did people of yore. When we look at God, creation and signs we find Him in every atom. Though men may not look at the books by prophets, may not look at old and new testaments God can be seen in every atom. All things are because of Christ, nothing beyond Christ. Christ is life and life is light. Though Christ dwells amongst us we who live in darkness are unable to see him. # John 1:2-5 He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. # Heb 1:2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. # Heb 11:3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
# Rom 1:21-22 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools. # Jer 5:21-22 Hear this, you foolish and senseless people, who have eyes but do not see, who have ears but do not hear: Should you not fear me?" declares the LORD. "Should you not tremble in my presence? I made the sand a boundary for the sea, an everlasting barrier it cannot cross. The waves may roll, but they cannot prevail; they may roar, but they cannot cross it. # Ps 19:1-6 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens he has pitched a tent for the sun, which is like a bridegroom coming forth from his pavilion, like a champion rejoicing to run his course. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is hidden from its heat. Though the advent of Christ was not written down in any book, which they have, the wise men of east followed the movement of star and reached Jerusalem. The wise men of the east are really wise and commendable. They are the best. Their devotion is unparalleled. They are the wisest because they showed us Christ the Fount of knowledge. The Israelites who recite books of prophets never knew the birth of Christ. The commandments were given on Mount Sinai. King Herod asked them about the place of birth of Christ. This only shows that the so called learned never knew anything. This only shows that these people were just reading them without understanding. It is regrettable that the Israelites should be told about the birth of Christ by the wise men of east. The wise men of east traveled to Bethlehem and showed the world the birth of Christ and his birth was conformed. # Acts 3:22-26 For Moses said, 'The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you. Anyone who does not listen to him will be completely cut off from among his people.' "Indeed, all the prophets from Samuel on, as many as have spoken, have foretold these days. And you are heirs of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers. He said to Abraham, 'Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.' When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways." # Deut 18:16-19 For this is what you asked of the LORD your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly when you said, "Let us not hear the voice of the LORD our God nor see this great fire anymore, or we will die." The LORD said to me: "What they say is good. I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account.
# Mic 5:2 "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times." # Matt 2:1-5 After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him." When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him. When he had called together all the people's chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Christ was to be born. "In Bethlehem in Judea," they replied, "for this is what the prophet has written: The total failure of Israelites can be deduced from the following evidence. # Jer 30:21 Their leader will be one of their own; their ruler will arise from among them. I will bring him near and he will come close to me, for who is he who will devote himself to be close to me?' declares the LORD. # Dan 7:13-14 "In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed. # Zech 9:9 Rejoice greatly, O Daughter of Zion! Shout, Daughter of Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and having salvation, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey. # Gen 49:10 The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs and the obedience of the nations is his. # Isa 9:6For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. # Ps 132:10 For the sake of David your servant, do not reject your anointed one. # Matt 1:1 A record of the genealogy of Jesus Christ the son of David, the son of Abraham: # Luke 2:4-5 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child.
# Isa 16:5 In love a throne will be established; in faithfulness a man will sit on it-- one from the house of David-- one who in judging seeks justice and speeds the cause of righteousness. # Jer 23:5-6 "The days are coming," declares the LORD, "when I will raise up to David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land. In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety. This is the name by which he will be called: The LORD Our Righteousness. # Ps 132:11 The LORD swore an oath to David, a sure oath that he will not revoke: "One of your own descendants I will place on your throne-# Luke 1:32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David # Acts 2:30 But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne. Only few instances about the king of Jews are mentioned here for paucity of space. The words of prophets are neglected. When the wise men told them about Christ, the so-called devotees tried to slay Christ who came to save them. # John 5:39-40 You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life. # Matt 2:6-8 "'But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will be the shepherd of my people Israel.'" Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared. He sent them to Bethlehem and said, "Go and make a careful search for the child. As soon as you find him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him." # Matt 2:16 When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi. The ignorant people did not heed the Bible, the books of the prophets, and the wise men of the east and crucified their own savior. The wise men though not equipped with any evidence, followed the star gave presence paid their ovisance. On the other hand the Israelites though equipped with all evidence crucified him and became accursed. It is quiet interesting that India also lies towards the east of the Mediterranean in which Bethlehem is considered to be the bay area. Wise men of east are from east. I am of the firm view that wisdom is the domain of the east and not the west. Wisdom means the Bible (# Eph 5:3-11). Christians are in the east. Though great scholars like Aristotle, Plato and Socrates were born north of the Mediterranean since they did not show God and they cannot be recognized as wise. It is relevant to note that wisdom is found in the east. Pseudo- devotees are a legion. # Acts 13:40-41 Take care that what the prophets have said does not happen to you: "'Look, you scoffers, wonder and perish, for I am going to do something in your days that you would never believe, even if someone told you.'"
# Isa 29:14 Therefore once more I will astound these people with wonder upon wonder; the wisdom of the wise will perish, the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish." It is a well known fact that the Israelites transgressed the commandment of God as given to them in. # Hab 1:5 "Look at the nations and watch- and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told. The Apostles commanded them but it was denied and I shall give you an instance of that. Examine the sentence with discretion; implement it. # James 1:21-22 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Blessings The heavenly Father in flesh and blood gave these to Israelites and obedience to Him will lead to wealth, progeny, and velour. We find in the Old Testament instances when people lost the blessings and regain them. While some live according to the New Testament some others mould the teachings of Bible according to their needs and they bear close resemblance to the Jews who crucified Christ. By blessings some narrowly understand the physical blessings only and it is their plight. They invoke Christ's blessings for their children to be in U.S, that they could acquire property, are well placed in good jobs, which is again pitiable. Does it mean the poor, the unemployed, the middle class, the destitute are cursed? Certainly not. It is only a wrong interpretation. Dear readers be careful of these wrong interpretations. # 2 Peter 3:16-17 He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position. Many Christians believe today in Christ for their physical well being. One Christian says he was healed by the lord, another says he was blessed with children because of Christ, while a third says he achieved physical success. Thanks to Christ. Jesus is not for blessing us with physical desires. # 1 Cor 15:19 If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men. # John 6:26 Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, you are looking for me, not because you saw miraculous signs but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. # 1 Cor 1:22 Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom. Many Christians today believe that by Blessing they mean physical well being which is suicidal. Many have made money in the name of Bible and they are spreading such an opinion. Though Luke in 12:5 never equated well being with wealth, very few realize it. I give below a detailed explanation of wealth. # Matt 19:23-25 Then Jesus said to his disciples, "I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, "Who then can be saved?" # Matt 19:16-22 Now a man came up to
Jesus and asked, "Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?" "Why do you ask me about what is good?" Jesus replied. "There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments." "Which ones?" the man inquired. Jesus replied, "'Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,' and 'love your neighbor as yourself.'" "All these I have kept," the young man said. "What do I still lack?" Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth. # Luke 12:33-34 Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. # Acts 4:34-35 There were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to anyone as he had need. # 1 Tim 6:17-19 Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life. # Phil 3:10-11 I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. # 1 Tim 6:6-10 But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. # Luke 16:19-22 "There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores and longing to eat what fell from the rich man's table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores. "The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried. We have amongst us many false Christians who attribute the success of their children as Doctors, Engineers, and Business magnets due to God. They attribute their crores due to his blessings. They are the role models. They are close to the Jews who are cursed. Like the income tax evaders, these people try to evade by dubbing the physical wealth as blessings of the lord. How many do realize the biblical injunction that a camel can pass through an eye of a needle but not a rich man through the gates of heaven (# Matt 19:2325). Many of them love mammon and not God. They want to serve the mammon but not God. A certain lady anointed the feet of Jesus with very valuable scent then Judas Iscariot commented that the scent should have been sold and the diners should have been given to the poor. He said these not because he loved the poor but because he was a thief. # John 12:3-6 Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus' feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance
of the perfume. But one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, who was later to betray him, objected, "Why wasn't this perfume sold and the money given to the poor? It was worth a year's wages." He did not say this because he cared about the poor but because he was a thief; as keeper of the money bag, he used to help himself to what was put into it. Today's man has become a slave to creature comforts and does not swear by the word of God but has become a worshipper of mammon. The Bible declares such a man as one lost forever. Even the preacher's pastors and Christians are worshipping mammon. Today's Christians want only to preach but not practice the word of God. The New Testament has many apostles and disciples. Were they not blessed? Some were naked, some did not have houses but still they served God and were they not blessed? # 1 Cor 4:9-13 For it seems to me that God has put us apostles on display at the end of the procession, like men condemned to die in the arena. We have been made a spectacle to the whole universe, to angels as well as to men. We are fools for Christ, but you are so wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are honored, we are dishonored! To this very hour we go hungry and thirsty, we are in rags, we are brutally treated, we are homeless. We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; when we are slandered, we answer kindly. Up to this moment we have become the scum of the earth, the refuse of the world. # 2 Cor 11:23-27 Are they servants of Christ? (I am out of my mind to talk like this.) I am more. I have worked much harder, been in prison more frequently, been flogged more severely, and been exposed to death again and again. Five times I received from the Jews the forty lashes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, three times I was shipwrecked, I spent a night and a day in the open sea, I have been constantly on the move. I have been in danger from rivers, in danger from bandits, in danger from my own countrymen, in danger from Gentiles; in danger in the city, in danger in the country, in danger at sea; and in danger from false brothers. I have labored and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked. # 2 Cor 6:3-10 We put no stumbling block in anyone's path, so that our ministry will not be discredited. Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left; through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors; known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything. # 2 Cor 4:7-12 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to
death for Jesus' sake, so that his life may be revealed in our mortal body. So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you. Are these people blessed? Or today's wretched who take the name of God in their hour of need. The Bible is being interpreted according to their convenience. They see only this temporal world but not the eternal world. These wretched pass off in the name of God but are spending their time in a useless fashion. Instead of offering their lives to God, they want to cash in on God like by selling the properties of the church. # Matt 6:19-20 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. While the Bible tells us that we should not worry about wealth, we try to pass off our mistakes on to God. I give unto you the peace that I enjoyed in corporate body. # John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. A teaching, which is not understood by these people that the wealthy cannot go to heaven but to hell. And hence I do not give excess wealth. But today's preachers are propagating that one gets wealth by believing Christ. Some are even turning anti Christ. Are not Christians blessed? If so are the blessed and let us take a look at the Bible. # Col 3:1-4 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. # Phil 3:18-21 For, as I have often told you before and now say again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly things. But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body. # 2 Cor 5:1-9 Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked. For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. Now it is God who has made us for this very purpose and has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. We live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. # Heb 11:10-16 For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God. By faith Abraham, even though he was past age-and Sarah herself
was barren-was enabled to become a father because he considered him faithful who had made the promise. And so from this one man, and he as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore. All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. Instead, they were longing for a better country-a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them. # James 3:13-18 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. Such "wisdom" does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, of the devil. For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness. # John 14:25 "All this I have spoken while still with you. # Acts 2:30 But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne. # Acts 2:39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off-for all whom the Lord our God will call." # Eph 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. # John 16:12-15 "I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you. # John 14:1-6 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going." Thomas said to him, "Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?" Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
# 1 Cor 2:9 However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him�There are many more matters dealing with hereafter but due to paucity of time I am not mentioning then now. Today's Christian is not worried about the hereafter but is seeking the blessings of Jesus Christ for the pleasures of temporal life. But the earliest Christians never bothered about material wealth, were abjectly poor but sought the blessings of the lord. Paul never cared for silver, gold, clothes. While he was spreading the word of God he labored and fulfilled the needs of his brethren. Paul deleted acceptance and propagated renunciation and made it a model for all. # Acts 20:33-35 I have not coveted anyone's silver or gold or clothing. You yourselves know that these hands of mine have supplied my own needs and the needs of my companions. In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'� # 2 Thess 3:8-9 nor did we eat anyone's food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you. We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but in order to make ourselves a model for you to follow. Paul underwent many trials and tribulations, fasted many a day unclad but never was a disbeliever, was responsible for many churches in Asia and Europe and was without sleep keeping a night vigil on countless nights. # 2 Cor 11:27 I have labored and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked. However when we look at the Christian preachers and Christians today we find that they are after money, setting at naught the very spirit of Christianity. Dear brothers and sisters do you find any difference between the Jews of Christ time who could never know his God hood and today's Christians who proclaim that Christ dwells in them. Instead of paying their respects to the wise men of the east who showed them the lord, people who ought to have gone and worshipped him crucified him in the ramparts openly and cruelly while he was still very young. Today's Christians possessed with the truth try to insult openly people of my ilk and once again are crucifying Christ.
