The Certificate in Transpersonal Studies is a distance-learning program that provides students with a solid educational foundation in the theories and applications of transpersonal psychology. As a student in this program, you will have the opportunity to integrate transpersonal principles, wisdom, and practices into your personal and professional life. Our distance-learning format allows you to study from your home, stay within your own community, keep your job, be with your family, and engage with your schoolwork during times that conveniently fit into your schedule. Our course modules and virtual classrooms provide you many ways to engage in your education. As a Global student, you will attend two seminars in Northern California, study in learning communities through our online campus, and participate in transpersonal/spiritual practices. You will also have full access to our online library. ITP’s Global Master of Transpersonal Psychology (MTP) offers you an opportunity to study the wisdom and practices of transpersonal psychology and to specialize in one of four exciting specializations — from anywhere in the world. This program emphasizes transformational learning and realization of our higher human potentials. The curriculum is intellectually rigorous, yet experiential and expansive. Creativity, diversity, world wisdom psychology, ecological consciousness and multiple ways of knowing are valued. You will learn in ways that honor your own uniqueness. Curriculum Overview (Two Years, 45 units)
In Year One of the MTP program, you will gain a foundation in Transpersonal Psychology and receive a Certificate in Transpersonal Studies upon completion of the curriculum (see reverse side). In Year Two, you will have the choice of one of the specializations listed below. Realizing it might be difficult to choose just one, we have designed an optional third year for those desiring two specializations.
