Service Notes
Jeffrey R. MacEachron has been promoted to the rank of colonel in the U.S. Air Force. He recently arrived for duty at the 66th Air Base Wing at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA, to serve as the Inspector General. As the IG, MacEachron oversees Inspector General complaints, fraud, waste, and abuse, and compliance programs for the Electronics Systems Center, and the Department of Defense’s command and control Center of Excellence, responsible for more than 10,000 personnel, 250 programs, and an annual budget of more than $4 billion. He investigates complaints and performs trend analysis and ensures compliance with policies and directives involving 25 locations. Col. MacEachron has served in the military for 22 years. He is the son of Robert and Marlene MacEachron of E. Quaker St., Granville, NY.
