Become an associate of The Employers As The Employers’ Association of Greenland (GA) provides an opportunity to become an associate member, both to support our work to create better conditions for business life, and in order to secure a broad network of business interests in which members can exchange knowledge and information with each other.
We have neither sufficient finances nor manpower. We therefore offer a warm welcome to organisations and companies from abroad who are willing and able to invest in such areas as oil exploration and mining – and thereby become locomotives in the country’s industrial development.
Greenland – land of new opportunities
Associate membership of the Employers Association of Greenland is another tool to secure economic development, enabling Greenlandic companies to link up with representatives of major international networks.
Greenland is the land of great opportunities, and is currently undergoing a rapid phase of development which in the coming years will set a whole new new agenda for the business community. In addition to existing businesses, new activities in the form of mineral exploration are on the way. However, Greenland does not possess the resources to implement these new business activities alone.
Conditions of membership Associate membership is available to both domestic and foreign organisations, and to foreign companies. Through associate membership, these organisations

and companies can form closer links with Greenlandic business life, giving greater opportunities to draw on mutual resources. Associate members have the opportunity to participate in: • Open meetings for members • Member events • Delegate meetings • GA’s cross-sector network
Applications for associate membership follow the same guidelines as for ordinary membership. Associate members pay an enrollment fee of DKK 1,000, and thereafter a quarterly membership fee of DKK 2,500.
Associate members receive member information on the same basis as ordinary members – but please note that not all information is available in English translation.
Foreign organisations and companies with associate membership will be transferred to ordinary membership of GA in the event that they establish themselves in Greenland.
Associate members are organisationally linked to the main association.
