INTERMEDIO 1
Last issue There is not much to be said now. I suppose the summer experiences may have allowed you to check if your English is a little better that it used to be.
IT WAS A VERY GOOD YEAR, WASN’T IT? Peter Jackson, director of The Lord of the Rings, said that during the casting process he decided to look for good actors who were also nice people. Well, teaching English to nice students made my job a lot easier. The new school year is about to start and I can’t help thinking about our past course. A number of challenges have been met, a great many issues have been tackled, seeds have been planted. On the whole I have the feeling that you know what it takes to learn a language properly. I am not sure about how successful the classes were, though. I know we did have a good time but in terms of learning it is probably you who should judge whether those English classes made a difference or not.
As far as results go, it seems our class did as good as the others. Pronunciation is not just an accessory. Movies may be a fun way to look into a language.
