Since it’s opening, InterContinental Manila has been known for its legacy of unparalleled service, a landmark hotel that mirrors Filipino hospitality, history and world class service. It boasts of restaurants and bars incuding The Jeepney, fondly referred to as “Jeepney Coffeeshop” due to its relaxed and easy ambience resembling that of a cozy coffee place where one can chat and dine. Its interior design takes inspiration from the colorful Filipino mass transportation vehicle, the Jeepney. Prince Albert Rotisserie, which is hailed as one of the first fine dining restaurant in the country. Its blue and silver color scheme establishes an ambiance that is both elegant and relaxed. The main dining area is dominated by a show kitchen, which has been a breeding ground for some of the renowned chefs in the culinary scene today: Billy King, Cyrille Soenen, Roland Sager, Marc Aubry, Roland Lutz, Patrick Fournes, Stephane Chambon and Jessie Sincioco. Gambrinus Bar, offers an oasis of relaxation by way of its well-stacked bar, interesting selection of a la carte dishes and evening live music performances set in an elegant lounge with a garden view. Sol y Sombra is known for its refreshing ambience, nipa huts and magical evening vibe, it serves tropical thirst quenchers and cocktails in a poolside garden setting. As we celebrate the momentous curtain call of InterContinental Manila, we fondly recall the past and enthusiastically prepare for the new chapter of our once beloved location.

In honor of 187 employees who will continue to serve and devote themselves until the hotel doors close for good – this is lovingly dedicated to every single one of them.
