BLIS stands for Bernama Library and Infolink Service. It is a product of BERNAMA, the Malaysian National News Agency.

BLIS provides general and economic news services. It provides information on Bernama News, Archives, Foreign News, Info Providers, Who’s Who, Speeches, Sectoral Reports, Databank, Fact & Figures and Calendar of Events.

For Malaysian news, BLIS provides archives to newspapers like Berita Harian, Utusan Malaysia, News Straits Times, The Star, Malay Mail, The Edge, Malaysian Business, Business Times and many more. Some also provide newspaper articles from the first issue.

Click Online Databases
All faculty members and students who have registered as a member of IIUM Library may request for books and photocopies of materials from other libraries on interlibrary loan. However, this service is not extended to External Members. Â
Choose BLIS
Click on the needed section. To look for past newspaper articles, click Archival News.
You can search under individual newspaper title. To look in multiple newspapers simultaneously, click Advanced Search.

Enter terms needed at the keywords column.
You can also limit search by indicating the range of years at From/To Date columns.
Results. 30 articles per-page.
Result listed are the latest to the oldest. To view the full article, click on the title.
