IE UNIVERSIDAD / IE UNIVERSITY OFRECE NUEVOS GRADOS EN MADRID LAUNCHES NEW BACHELOR DEGREE PROGRAMMES IN MADRID
IE amplía su oferta académica en Madrid el curso 2012-2013. Según anunció el rectorado el pasado enero, IE University ofrece la posibilidad de cursar íntegramente en el campus de Madrid el Grado en Administración de Empresas (BBA) –en inglés y en versión gradual (español-inglés)–, así como el Doble Grado en Derecho y Administración de Empresas en su modelo gradual. Con más de 35 años de historia, el campus madrileño supone para los alumnos universitarios una experiencia única en el centro financiero de Madrid y un aprendizaje dentro de la propia business school, rodeados de un claustro de profesores y un alumnado de perfil internacional. Los alumnos que cursen en Madrid los nuevos grados compartirán sus vivencias y sus prácticas universitarias con los estudiantes de tercer y cuarto curso de Administración de Empresas, Derecho, doble grado en Administración de Empresas y Derecho, Finanzas y Relaciones Internacionales, que inician sus estudios en el campus de Segovia y finalizan los dos últimos años académicos en la capital. Los alumnos de Madrid comparten programa, claustro y actividades extracurriculares con los estudiantes de Segovia. Esto garantiza una experiencia multidisciplinar única y una interacción constante entre alumnos de más 75 nacionalidades. El campus de Segovia continuará siendo el lugar principal donde se concentre la oferta formativa de IE University, tanto de los grados actuales: Arquitectura, Psicología, Comunicación, Administración de Empresas, Derecho, Doble Grado en
Administración de Empresas y Derecho, Finanzas, Relaciones Internacionales y Biología, como de nuevos grados que se puedan desarrollar en un futuro. Mientras que el campus de Segovia se encuentra en el antiguo Convento de Santa Cruz la Real, del siglo XV, el campus madrileño de IE University se ubica en el edificio de Castellón de la Plana y sus alrededores, y aprovecha los recursos de la business school, que opera en más de 24 edificios en la zona de María de Molina.
IE University is set to extend its Madridbased programme portfolio for the upcoming 2012-2013 academic year. As announced by the Rector’s Office in January, IE University will offer students the possibility of studying in Madrid its Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA), in either English or starting in Spanish and changing progressively to English, and its Dual Degree in Law and Business Administration, also first in Spanish, then progressively in English. Established by the Business School arm of IE over 35 years ago, the Madrid campus provides university students with a unique learning experience in the heart of Madrid’s financial district and in the Business School itself, amid a faculty and student body with a markedly international profile.
The students who study the new editions of these Bachelor degree programmes in Madrid will be sharing their learning experience and internships with third and fourth-year students from the University’s degrees in Business Administration, Law, Finance and International Relations, and the Dual Degree in Law and Business Administration, who began their studies at the Segovia campus and will be completing the last two years of their degrees in the Spanish capital. The Madrid-based students follow the same programme as the students in Segovia, delivered by the same faculty and with the same extracurricular activities. Thus they are guaranteed a unique multi-disciplinary experience and constant interaction with students from 75 countries. The Segovia Campus is a central reference for IE University. On this campus, we offer an extensive portfolio of Bachelordegree programs: Architecture, Psychology, Communication, Business Administration (BBA), Law, Dual Degree in Business Administration and Law, Finance, International Relations and Biology as well as others that will be launched in the future. While the Segovia campus is housed in the 15th century Convent of Santa Cruz la Real, the Madrid campus is located in IE’s Castellón de la Plana building and surrounding areas, making it possible for students to share the resources of the Business School, which occupies some 24 buildings in the María de Molina area of Madrid.
