Dear Alumni, We feel tremendously proud of the values that make our IE community a unique one: Diversity, Entrepreneurship, Humanities, Technology and Innovation. We know that each of you, in your own ways, contribute to these community values as professionals and brand ambassadors around the world. To further encourage your pro-active involvement as students and alumni, we wanted to go further in providing you with specific leadership roles that you take on as volunteers. In this Volunteer Handbook , we have created a practical guide on a wide variety of ways that you can volunteer and make a difference in our community. Every hour of your time that you willingly choose to invest in supporting the various activities that we lead together with our colleagues, will not only enhance IE´s reputation and international presence, but also your own personal brand. Your important role as a volunteer will make a direct impact on recruiting the best talent to IE, increasing our outreach to companies worldwide, building and growing IE communities through clubs, and sharing stories that make us proud to belong to the IE network. These provide just a few examples of how you can connect your interests with strategic areas at IE that welcome your support and enthusiasm as students and alumni! WHY YOU ARE IMPORTANT Volunteers are the heartbeat of Global Alumni Relations. You have an amazing opportunity to give back to the school, current students, and your fellow IE alumni in whatever way you can. As thought, and world leaders, IE alumni are in an ideal position to offer advice, insights and resources. What is important is not the magnitude of your contribution, but the choice to contribute at all. CLASS CORREPONDENTS
Class Correspondents make the IE experience everlasting. You help classmates reconnect with each

• Help bring classmates back to campus and Madrid for the Global Alumni Weekend.

COMMUNICATION VOLUNTEERS
SOCIAL MEDIA VOLUNTEERS We are looking for passionate alumni to serve as Communication Volunteers. Communication Volunteers have a desire to say in touch with IE, have pride in the institution, and are willing to help spread the news of positive stories, exciting events, exclusive opportunities, time-sensitive announcements, and more. You will serve a significant role in supporting our online community by facilitating conversations, and promoting awareness and growth at IE University.
COMMUNITY SOCIAL MEDIA VOLUNTEERS
Community SSMM Volunteers will be responsible for tasks such as:

COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP ROLES Community Leaders are critical to ensuring the success of our communities. They lead their respective communities in collaboration with the different IE departments. Our leaders remain active and informed in all community activities and act as a liaison between the university and alumni in the area.

With a global network of more than 60 geographical and professional clubs worldwide, you will meet new

• Support the club initiatives as a facilitator.
• Suggest topics of interest to exchange knowledge and network through the organization of professional activities.

MENTORING & COACHING ROLES Mentoring is a great way to pay your success forward and help to shape current students or alumni experience. Alumni coaches and students are able to learn from each other as they connect in a variety of ways — virtually and in-person.
