TOP 3 Meeting in France

Page 3 from 4

TOP 3.1 Programme until meeting in France (Feb.2013) (Work to be done until the Meeting) Main topic of the second year: “Violation of Human Rights in Europe” Different theatre scenes Proposal: Postpone the presentation of the theatre work to the meeting in France. Put aside the idea of sending video scenes to the other nations. Instead: - Writing of a script which is to be performed in international groups in France. Two scenes of 2-5 minutes length. - Send the scripts to France in advance so that bigger pieces of props and setting can be acquired and prepared in France (deadline: January 15th). - Bring along small necessary items (props, clothes, requisites, etc.) 11:25

Discussion: - Delegations should choose a specific topic for their scenes. (Unemployment, cheap labour, Terrorist Groups, …) - Include topics that younger students can identify with (Violation of Human Rights in everyday life, school, institutions, families…) - Form international teams of similar age in France.

11:40

TOP 3.2 Planning and Discussion of the agenda for the meeting in Valance (France) Possible Problems: - Restriction of students to approximately 3 (limited capacity of host families) - Exact number of teachers needs to be communicated very early (cheap but homely hotels are rare) - There is the possibility of renting apartments with kitchens instead of regular hotel rooms. (cheaper, easier to organise) - High costs in France. - No direct flights to Valence, so trains will have to be booked early. - Be careful: there are two Train Stations in Valence. - Bring warm clothes. February in France can be freezing cold.

TOP 4.2 Tasks concerning the Musical (Max) “A Flower for the enemy Story, Script and Songs are already written. - 10 scenes - 10 songs - Texts will have to be translated from Italian into German. - International musicians practice the tunes at home using music files (midi-files, mp3-files) and notes provided by Max. Final ensembles are put together in Karben. - It is very important that the students are well prepared and know how to play and sing their individual parts of the songs. There will only be a few days to rehearse and practise together in Karben. - Number of Instruments (drums, bass, 2x guitar, piano, soloinstruments, choir) - Actors and singers. Not all actors have to sing. - There must be one teacher of every delegation responsible for drama/ acting, who works with Max in order to organise the cast of actors. o Possible solutions: One or two scenes for every delegation Fixed international actors for the whole play Two actors for every role o Preferred way of communication with Max via Skype: Skypename: MAXQUATTRINI - Product will be recorded on video and as a multichannel-audio project (Music-CD) 13:00
