TIMSO Awarded at Club Carnival At Hawai‘i Pacific University’s Club Carnival, the Travel Industry Management Student Organization (TIMSO) was awarded third place for the Booth Decoration competition. The booth was designed and built by the TIMSO Board of Directors lead by their President Gleanne Dimson. Congratulations to TIMSO for an excellent job.

TIM Educational Event 2009 The College of Business Administration (CBA) Travel Industry Management (TIM) program will host its annual educational event on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at the Waialae Country Club. This event celebrates the partnership between the travel industry and HPU in support of student achievements, and the theme will be Challenging Times makes for Creative Minds - How to begin a Successful Career in the Travel Industry. Guests in attendance last year were industry partners who have supported the TIM program as guest speakers, judges, shadowing sponsors, internship providers, and scholarship donors. They include Marriott International, ASTON Hotels and Resorts, Kahala Hotel & Resort, Castle Resorts & Hotels, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Atlantic & Pacific Travel, East West Best Travel, Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park, Cirque Hawaii, AT Marketing, ACACIA, Hawaii Pacific Health, Pacific Beach Hotel, Prince Resorts Hawaii, and Tiki’s Grill & Bar.
