Since coming off the road after their last ninety five date World tour, Craig and Charlie Reid then spent a year writing, and subsequently recording, their ninth studio album Like Comedy last autumn.

In 2001, Eddi moved back to Glasgow, where she has recorded seven solo albums to international acclaim and was awarded the MBE in 2006 for services to singing. Constant touring with her band has created a magical organic chemistry between Eddi and her players. Whilst renowned for her technical vocal ability, it is Eddi's passion and instinct that combine to make her live performance unforgettably emotional and engaging.
Summer 2012 then saw The Proclaimers headlining the Hebridean and Big Tent festivals in Scotland, followed by another headline slot at Cambridge Festival and main stage appearances at the V Festival in England.
