From her design studio in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Gibson has called LamanBlu’s debut collection “Being the Fabulous”. It is a sportswear based collection in a sumptuous and silky eco-friendly bamboo knit fabric. “The color palette of this collection has deep expansiveness and muted tones with a subtle richness,” says Gibson. “In many ways, this collection was inspired by the frozen surfaces of winter, from the smooth, soft snow blanketing the hillsides, to the positively brilliant snow crystals which sparkle in the moonlight, as brilliantly as any diamond. I always crave fabrics with a soft, sumptuous hand to curl up with in the winter, and the bamboo knit of this collection fills the bill perfectly, along with the cashmere tam to top everything off.” To accent against the soft knit, there is a sparkle organza and an embroidered and beaded lace. Fabrics: The core fabric of this collection is a silky, sumptuous eco-friendly 11 ounce bamboo knit with a touch of lycra. There is also a 14 ounce 100% bamboo fleece, which is hand printed with eco-friendly mica pigments in iridescent colors of kiss, pewter, barberry and aubergine. Bamboo is a very renewable resource that grows fast without chemicals and pesticides. It is highly absorbent and bacteria resistant. Accent fabrics include a nylon sparkle organza and a nylon/spandex embroidered and beaded stretch lace. Trim: The quintesscential trim for Being the Fabulous is a dyed to match foldover elastic with sparkle. It is both a trim and finishing touch which adds sheen to the garments and is in keeping with the comfort focus of soft knits with elastic properties. Many of the garments in this collection feature varying types of hand-controlled machine embroidery in shiny rayon yarns, as well as hand embroidery and beading. Coverstitching, roll hemming and lettuce hemming are also accent details. All buttons are authentic natural shell. At the time of publication of this document, glass beads adorn several of the garments. LamanBlu is dedicated to meeting CPSIA standards. We are currently testing the beads for compliance. Should this become an issue, freshwater pearls will be substituted to ensure compliance. We give as many trim/color options as possible to the retailer so they can effectively and uniquely create their merchandising floor presentation. Accessories: A collection of accessories is important to any look, and LamanBlu has created an offering of various hats, socks and purses to complete your retail presentation. We feel this is an important part of the line, to provide wardrobe options to the consumer and and add-on sales for the retailer.

#M3903-101 Bamboo Knit Missy ¾ Sleeve Dress: A surplice front dress trimmed in foldover elastic with a fitted bodice and flared from the empire line to just above the ankle into a full skirt with side slits. The sleeves are ¾ length ending in a poet ruffle. Matches the child’s short sleeve wrap dress. #3902-101 Bamboo Knit Short Sleeve Wrap Dress: This dress is ballet length with a full skirt and side seam slits. The front bodice is embroidered in free form embroidery and the dress is fully trimmed in foldover elastic. It has a sparkle organza sash at the empire line which ties in a bow in the back and comes down fully to the hem of the dress. Beautiful paired with the embroidered lace T underneath and the poet jacket over. Add leggings for additional warmth. Matches mother dress #3901-101 Bamboo Knit Tank Ballerina Dress: This dress has foldover elastic trim at the neck and arms, extending to form the straps. The skirt and multiple full ruffles of the dress are roll hemmed of sparkle organza. Beautiful paired with the embroidered lace T over, as well as the printed capelet or the printed shrug jacket. Wonderful layering piece. #3901-101 & 3901-101E Bamboo Knit Tank Top: This top is made similarly to the tank ballerina dress, with foldover elastic at the neck, arms and straps. The bottom of the tank is lettuce hemmed. You can select plain fabric, or embroidered fabric for the tank. Wonderful layering piece. #3913-101 Bamboo Knit Long Sleeve Embroidered Swing T: This T has elastic trim at the neck and sleeve hem. It is fully embroidered in free form embroidery on the sleeves and front. The back is embroidered with an eco-globe free form embroidery. It has a coverstitched full swing hem for beautiful movement. Wonderful with the legging for a fun day out, the bustle skirt to dress it up or as a layering piece with the dresses.

#3926-101 Bamboo Knit Legging: This is a full length legging with a foldover elastic waist and coverstitched hem. Wonderful layering piece with any of the skirts or dresses or wear as a pant with a top and / or jacket. #3930-101 Bamboo Knit Short Bustle Skirt: This is a knee length skirt with a foldover elastic waist and lettuce hem. The center back panel is fully ruffled in roll hemmed organza. Beautiful with the swing T or the tank and embroidered lace T. Also great layered over the legging. #3942-101 Bamboo Knit Poet Jacket: This jacket is trimmed in foldover elastic with a single natural shell button at the waist. It has a full peplum with a coverstitched hem. The bracelet length sleeve has a poet ruffle at the wrist. Beautiful over any combination. #3949-101 Bamboo Knit Hooded Cape: This is a ballet length wrap cape with a drapey hood which has beautiful twirl qualities. Layer over any outfit for added warmth and drama. #3914-110 Embroidered Lace & Beaded Long Sleeve Top: This is a stretch lace top with both machine and hand embroidery and beading embellishments. It has a scalloped neckline and hems, and shirring embroidery down the center of the sleeve and along the front and back princess lines. A hand embroidered “bracelet” circles the wrist of the sleeves. An heirloom piece, beautiful layered over or under anything. #3904-101 Embroidered Lace Overdress: This is a stretch lace dress with both machine and hand embroidery and beading embellishments. It has a scalloped neckline and hems. The front and back yokes have free form embroidery and the body of the dress is shirred onto the yoke. Freshwater pearls adorn the front yoke. It has a natural shell button back keyhole closure and marabou feather trim at the neck and hem. The trim is removable for washing. Makes a statement on its own, or add the matching capelet for warmth. #3943-101 Printed Bamboo Fleece Long Sleeve Shrug Jacket: Bamboo fleece shrug jacket is hand printed in multi color iridescent snowflake pattern. It has reversed fuzzy bands all around and a front closure of natural shell buttons. The sleeve rolls up to the fuzzy size of the fabric, allowing you to adjust the length for your child. Organza ruffles adorn the neck, front and hemline all around.
