SEASON OUTLOOK The Hokies had a strong end to the 2016-17 season, advancing to the WNIT quarterfinals under the direction of first-year head coach Kenny Brooks. Tech will look to build on that momentum heading into the 2017-18 campaign. Tech returns a young team, including standout juniors Chanette Hicks and Regan Magarity. The pair led the Hokies in 2016-17 and is poised to continue adding their names to the Virginia Tech record books. Junior Rachel Camp will also be back on the court after being sidelined by injury last season. Sophomore Kendyl Brooks returns after setting the freshman 3-point record with 62. Kaela Kinder, Erinn Brooks and Diandra DaRosa will be back for 2017-18 and will be joined by Michelle Berry and Erin Garner, who will take the court after sitting out last year because of NCAA transfer rules. The Hokies will add five players for the upcoming season, including high school All-American Aisha Sheppard, JUCO National Player of the Year Taylor Emery and JUCO All-American Alexis Jean. Joining them are Sierra Votaw and Celeste Akoro.

BALLENA SELECT-A-SEAT In August, all qualifying patrons who have ordered season tickets will be assigned a selection date and time that will allow them entrance into the Ballena Select-A-Seat system based on their Hokie Club point priority ranking as of June 30th, 2017. As 2017 is a full reseating year, all season ticket holders will be selecting their basketball seat(s) using Ballena’s online selection technology. It will allow for real-time assignment of seat locations. Patrons who order season tickets will log into the system using their customer number and provided personal access code at their selection date and time. Once logged in, the number of seats that were ordered will be loaded into the patron’s account. Available seats will display in green and unavailable seats will display red. Next, simply click on the green seat dots to select seat locations. The seats will then be added to the patron’s cart. After seating has been selected, each patron will be asked to confirm and finalize their selections.

NEW SEAT PATRONS

Patrons ordering tickets for the first time will log into the system using their customer number and provided personal access code during their selection date and time. Once logged in, it will be up to the patron to choose a seat location from any of the open seats.

TO ADD SEATS DURING SELECTION

Patrons wishing to increase the number of season tickets they purchase, based on availability and Hokie Club priority limits, should contact the Athletics Ticket Office prior to their selection time.

SELECTION TIP ON SINGLE SEATS

In order to minimize unsellable single tickets, you will be prompted to reselect new seats or purchase the additional seat, if availability and priority limits allow, when making a selection that leaves a single seat by itself.
