Greetings Hokie Nation, On behalf of all of Virginia Tech Football, thank you for your continued support and loyalty. Season Ticket Holders and Hokie Club members are special members of the Hokie family and we appreciate your passion and commitment. This past season was quite the year, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be a Hokie. We returned to the ACC title game and secured 10 wins for the first time since 2011, secured our 13th straight Commonwealth Cup, won five of six games at home, and had 13 of our student-athletes receive All-ACC honors. Wrapping up the year with a bowl win over an SEC opponent, in what felt like Lane Stadium South, was also a very important step as we head into the off-season. Looking towards 2017 and the 125th anniversary of Virginia Tech football, we need the support of Hokie Nation to help us continue the positive momentum in Blacksburg. I’ve said it before, but Virginia Tech is a special place. The pride that people have at Virginia Tech is something that is very powerful. I hope that you will continue to make Lane Stadium a special place by purchasing season tickets and encouraging others to do the same. Our goal has, and will continue to be, to build a championship caliber team which you can be proud of. Late Orders: Orders received after the priority deadline will be assigned seat selection times at the end of the priority reseating selection process. For more information on reseating, see pages 10-11. • PROCESSING OF ORDERS Orders received by the priority deadline are entered for processing. Orders not renewed during this time frame are released for new orders and additional seat requests by current season ticket holders. Seat selection times are processed in Hokie Club point priority order from the top down. ORDER ONLINE at hokietickets.com or SIGN and MAIL the paper renewal/application form with full payment. Email Address: Use one primary email address per ticket office account both for informational emails sent to you from the Athletics Department and for your online account in hokietickets.com. Our software uses your email address as a unique identifier and will merge or lock out online accounts with the same email address. For your security, all address changes must be made in your online ticket account or submitted in writing to the Athletics Ticket Office. It is your responsibility to inform the Athletics Ticket Office of any address or contact information changes by June 15 to ensure tickets will be shipped on time and to the correct address. Changes made after this date must be made in writing to the Athletics Ticket Office and may be subject to an address change fee incurred by the ticket printer. Game Times/Dates: Game times and dates are subject to change. Refunds will not be made because a game time and/or date is changed. Full Payment: Full payment must be received by the priority deadline via online application or paper form via mail. We accept cash (in-person), check, money order, Discover, MasterCard or Visa. All funds are deposited upon receipt of your order. Make checks payable to Treasurer of Virginia Tech. New Seat Orders: Please use a credit card for new seat orders. This will expedite your refund in the event we are unable to fill your request. Check refunds take an additional 6-8 weeks to process. If your request cannot be filled, a credit card refund will be issued in late April.

Single Home Game Tickets: If available, individual home game tickets will be offered to qualifying Hokie Club members and season ticket holders in a separate priority order in the summer. Public sales for individual home game tickets are posted at hokietickets.com in early fall or as they become available during the season from the visiting teams returning a portion of their ticket allotment. Single Home Game Seating: Any single game ticket availability would be outside the season ticket areas and cannot be placed adjacent to season tickets. Additionally, the Athletics Ticket Office cannot remove individual games from a season ticket package in exchange for seats to be filled with an individual game order. Away Game Tickets: Away game online applications will be made available to all Hokie Club members and season ticket holders in late May. The away game ticket deadline usually falls in July.

Refunds: No refunds will be given unless an order is not filled. Refunds are for the price of the ticket only. Processing fees are not refunded.
Ticket Shipment: Season tickets will ship in early to midAugust. Single home and away game tickets will be shipped separately no later than 10 days prior to the game. Faculty/Staff: Faculty/Staff rate season tickets are available only to full-time Faculty/Staff for their personal use and for use by their dependents. Faculty/Staff season ticket purchasers must provide the ticket office with a copy of their current Virginia Tech ID. General Public: If season tickets remain available after the priority ordering period, a public sale will follow in early summer.

Hokie Club Donors will receive priority points for the following activities:

Hokie Club Priority Points Program: The Priority Points Program will be the method used to determine when donors will be able to select seats during the Ballena Select-A-Seat process in spring 2017. The system has been revised and simplified to reward both donor loyalty and generosity. A donor can accumulate points based upon various involvement with Virginia Tech Athletics (see below). Each donor’s priority point total will determine their rank, and their rank will be used to determine their priority seat selection.

Scholarship Seating Season Ticket Priority Limit: The number of football season tickets a donor can purchase and/or select in priority locations for the 2017 season reseating has been increased. Please see benefits chart at hokieclub.com for details.

The Hokie Scholarship Fund program is designed to address the need for increased funding to annual scholarship support of Hokie student-athletes. Under the program, season tickets in Lane Stadium will have an annual per-seat minimum gift requirement that varies based upon section or location (see map on page 11). Along with a new priority seating system, the overall program includes a new parking program and a new and improved benefit allocation process.
Football Scholarship Seating: The minimum per-seat gift requirements for “scholarship seating” at Lane Stadium are noted in the stadium map key (see below). Seating for season tickets in football will be based upon a donor’s priority points and making (at least) the minimum gift annually for “scholarship seat” locations. Per-seat donations are tax deductible and are in addition to the 2017 season ticket cost. These minimum per-seat gift amounts do not guarantee seating in the correlated sections; they are minimums needed to be eligible to select tickets in those sections based on availability.

With the education and development of our student-athletes at the core of the Hokie Club, the Hokie Scholarship Fund program creates a more sustainable model and enables Virginia Tech Athletics to continue to grow and be a national leader. The 2016-2017 scholarship bill totals nearly $14 million with an in-state scholarship costing the department $25,329 per student-athlete, and an out-of-state scholarship costing $42,327 per student-athlete. With this in mind, it is more important than ever to continue to show your support to the Hokies through a charitable contribution. PARKING INFORMATION
BALLENA SELECT-A-SEAT
Hokie Scholarship Fund Parking Information: Football parking selections for 2017 will be based upon a donor’s priority points (as of March 31, 2017), with their Hokie Scholarship Fund annual giving level determining eligibility of location and number of spots (please see benefits chart at hokieclub.com). Donors must give a minimum of $2,500 to the Hokie Scholarship Fund to be eligible for a reserved parking space in Zone A and a minimum gift of $550 to be eligible for a pass in Zone B. This gift minimum associated with reserved parking is NOT in addition to your minimum per-seat scholarship donation. All Hokie Scholarship Fund donors will be eligible to select a space in Zone C. Parking spaces in Zone B and C will NOT contain reserved numbered parking spaces. In other words, the pass will provide access into the lot on game day, but not a specific/reserved parking space within that lot. Also, new in 2017, donors can now qualify to purchase multiple parking passes depending on their giving annual level (please see benefits chart at hokieclub.com).
Starting in 2012, Virginia Tech began offering Ballena’s online selection service that allows each qualifying person to select his or her seats and parking space. It allows for real-time assignment of seat locations and parking spaces for all season ticket holders. In April, all qualifying patrons who have ordered season tickets will be assigned a selection date and time that will allow them entrance into the system based on their Hokie Club priority ranking. Selecting Seats and Parking for the Reseating: Patrons who order season tickets and parking will log into the system using their customer number and provided personal access code at their selection date and time. Once logged in, the number of seats and parking spaces that were ordered and any donation amount to the Hokie Scholarship Fund will be loaded into the patrons account. Donor ADA Parking: For qualifying Hokie Scholarship Fund donors, an ADA season parking pass may be purchased in lots 1, 2, 3 and 5 near the stadium. Due to demand, ADA parking requests are filled via a lottery. If your request cannot be honored, a refund will be issued in late April. Due to increased demand for ADA accommodations, a copy of your current disabled parking placard ID card displaying your name and motor vehicle assigned number is due at the time of your order.
