Jude Law plays DOM HEMINGWAY, a larger-than-life safecracker with a loose fuse who is funny, profane, and dangerous. After twelve years in prison, he sets off with his partner in crime Dickie (Richard E. Grant) looking to collect what he's owed for keeping his mouth shut and protecting his boss Mr. Fontaine (Demian Birchir). After a near death experience, Dom tries to re-connect with his estranged daughter (Emilia Clarke), but is soon drawn back into the only world he knows, looking to settle the ultimate debt.
Simon James (Eisenberg) is a timid office clerk working in an ominous government organization. He is overlooked by his boss (Wallace Shawn) and colleagues, scorned by his mother, and ignored by Hannah (Wasikowska), the lovely copy room girl he pines for. Undermined and undervalued everywhere he turns, it seems that his directionless life couldn’t get any worse—until the arrival of James Simon, his new co-worker. James is both Simon's exact physical double and his opposite—confident, charismatic and seductive with women. To Simon's horror, James slowly starts taking over his life.

A crew of seasoned criminals led by the notorious Nam (Hu Jun), pulls off another smooth and violent armored car heist in broad daylight. Whoever tries to get in their way, they show no mercy. This humiliates and shames the police force. A hardboiled senior police inspector Lui (Andy Lau), hot on the trails of Nam, determines to put an end to this madness. Actor Ha Jung-woo's directorial debut is a hilarious comedic romp revolving around a stormy, troubled flight with a Korean movie star, a business tycoon, paparazzi, and a monk on board! The pilot smokes nonchalantly at the cockpit, the crew is busy talking behind the passengers' backs, and the characters are all somewhat off-beat: the monk tries to convince the Korean star to become a vegetarian, the business tycoon's secretary is busy bossing everyone around, and a random woman wants the Korean star to give her an autograph telling him, "I want you."
