DESCRIPTION OF FUEL CELL PRODUCTS
NANO ENERGY GmbH analyzes, designs, supplies and installs a variety of energy assets in the sectors of hydrogen, photovoltaic, solar and wind power. The company provides hardware and component specifications and implements environmentally sound solutions. The products include scalable hydrogen fuel cell systems and solar-hydrogen hybrid power systems. The portfolio of NANO ENERGY GmbH specializes in the "OFF-GRID" energy supply in isolated areas, i.e. areas without access to regular electricity grids. As part of the project management all engineering and maintenance services for industrial energy applications are provided.
Product range: > Independent power system (IPSS): Suitable and useful for costumers who are not connected to a public electricity supply network (grid). The combustible is hydrogen fuel, obtained from photovoltaic systems. At the same time, the generated heat can be used for heating. > Fuel cell energy system for small vehicles (SVPS): Electric vehicles solely running on battery systems are retrofitted with a fuel cell system. The original battery system is scaled down, since fuel cell energy is used for both vehicle propulsion and battery recharge. Since the charging time of the hydrogen storage system is shorter than the charging time for conventional batteries, the vehicle needs a shorter recharge time overall. > Auxiliary power units (APU): The APU is a fuel cell system used as an emergency power system, utilized for minor power requirements. The energy supply is either supplemented by a hydrogen storage or is produced through photovoltaic systems with an electrolyzer. The system operates completely independent from fossile fuels. > Portable power supplies (PPS): The PPS is a transportable energy power supply system on fuel cell basis, quiet, efficient and environmentally friendly. Through these products the access to environmental technologies should be enabled and a fast-growing market development achieved. NANO ENERGY has collaborations with partners, among others with German Aerospace Center (= DLR) and RhineMain University in order to accelerate the power supply with renewable energies.
