OF OKEECHOBEE GALA The 2018 Marine Corps Toys for Tots of Okeechobee Gala was held on Sept. 22 at Silver Palms RV Resort. This year's theme was Glitz & Glamour. The event was a great time for an even better cause. The mission of the Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during Oct. - Dec. each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community. Okeechobee Toys for Tots Distribution will be Sat., Dec.15 at the Agri-Civic Center. Go to www.okeechobee-fl.toysfortots.org for more information.
