Board Leadership Training

THE BLT: Board Leadership Training HealthHIV’s “The BLTTM”: Board Leadership Training Program provides training and resources to ASO/CBO board members. The BLT features adaptable, self-paced courses and includes a variety of downloadable tools and templates for board members, such as member onboarding checklists, board goals and tracking charts, and sample meeting/retreat agendas. The training program addresses gaps in knowledge, skills, and competency of ASO/CBO board members to meaningfully engage in strategic thinking and sustainability planning.

Fiscal Health : Systems to Sustainability HealthHIV’s Fiscal HealthTM Professional Services is a nationally recognized technical assistance provider with expertise in Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program fiscal management and program compliance. The Fiscal HealthTM Team provides education, training, and technical assistance that address the fiscal sustainability of healthcare and social service organizations by building their fiscal and grants management capacity. The Fiscal Health program utilizes a diverse and culturally competent team of fiscal management experts to provide organizational sustainability services through outcomesdriven technical assistance and training.

Telehealth: Building HIV Retention in Care Among Minority Communities HealthHIV co-leads a team of healthcare providers on an initiative to develop and deploy a telehealth to provide HIV primary and specialty medical care for racial and ethnic minority communities living with HIV in urban areas. Telehealth is well documented as a mechanism to help individuals from rural and underserved communities access medical care; however, for urban individuals, issues such as transportation, clinic service hours that conflict with work hours, lack of providers and appointment times, and stigma still impact the ability of urban minorities to access care. Telehealth efforts are working to mitigate these barriers and help minorities engage along the HIV care continuum.
