As Indiana’s oldest private institution, established in 1827, Hanover College has higher education down to a (liberal arts and) science. For nearly 200 years, our graduates have discovered their passions through our wide variety of opportunities, from academics to athletics and social life to study abroad. That’s one of the best things about the liberal arts – you’ll choose from our 34 majors – but you’ll never be limited to just one thing! Experience and exploration are mandatory, and it sets our alumni apart. No wonder 99% of our students are working or continuing their education within 7 months of graduation.

“Professors really want to help students. They are not as busy as professors in big universities, so I can make meetings with them more easily. Additionally, Hanover College has a campus community, so I have made a lot of new friends. They are really nice and are willing to help.”
