Il Festival, grazie alla riflessione sul mito curata da Daniela Nicosia dal 2002, dà la possibilità di vedere l’ambiente mutato, contaminato da segni molteplici e in contrasto tra loro, custode di un segno originario che ancora permane. Nella permanenza del non tangibile risiede l’intima connessione tra mito e teatro, dove la macchina scenica si misura sia con i contesti naturali, sia con le strutture architettoniche della città, mostrando allo spettatore quei luoghi che forse, nell’uso e abuso quotidiano, non è più capace di cogliere. Thanks to the reflections on the myth overseen by Daniela Nicosia in 2002, the Filo D’Arianna Festival gave possibility to observe a changed environment, contaminated by multiple reflections, often contrasting among them, that kept its original character still enduring. In the presence of permanent intangible existence subsists an intimate connection between myth and theatre, where the apparatus of scenes is measured by natural context as well as the architecture structure of the city, showing the spectator those sites that perhaps, during daily use and measure, are unable to grasp. L’obiettivo è di restituire alla città di Dolo la sua isola: un insieme di elementi architettonici e paesaggistici (antichi molini, squero, case, argini, calli, palazzi e edifici storici) legati l’uno all’altro dalle storie del fiume, delle sue deviazioni, della costruzione di un’isola fluviale con un’architettura minore legata all’economia e perfettamente inserita nel pregio delle case dei patrizi veneziani. L’Isola torna così ad essere il vero palcoscenico della città, luogo dell’attesa, della convocazione e della scoperta, fonte di bellezza e di meraviglie. The objective of the “L’isola delle Meraviglie” is to return Dolo its island: together with architectual and landscape elements (ancients mills, shops, dwellings, embankments, narrow streets, palaces and historical buildings) linked to each other by the history of the canal, its deviations, the construction of the river island with inferior architecture linked to economics factors and completely interspaced with regards to the nobles venetian homes. In its way the Isola returns to be real stage of the city, a waiting place to be summoned and discovered of his beauty and marvels. La programmazione più tradizionale di Operaestate Festival Veneto è dedicata ai grandi eventi di teatro e danza, alle produzioni originali e ai progetti esclusivi creati appositamente per il festival e a partire dai luoghi dove sono ambientati. Il recupero e la valorizzazione di spazi di importante rilevanza architettonica, storica, paesaggistica è da sempre uno degli obiettivi e delle sfide lanciate da Operaestate. Caratteristica innovativa del festival. é infatti aver creato un vero e proprio distretto culturale con l’organizzazione in sistema, attraverso i beni culturali coinvolti, delle straordinarie risorse presenti nelle città palcoscenico. The most traditional schedule of Operaestate Festival Veneto is dedicated to the grand events of theatre and dance, to original productions and projects created exclusively for the festival, starting from the places whee they are set. The recovery and evaluation of spaces of an architectural, historical and landscape importance has always been a target of and a challenge presented by Operaestate. The innovative characteristic of the festival is the creation of a real and accurate cultural district featuring a systemic organization of the extraordinary resources present in the Città Palcoscenico, through the involvement of the cultural heritage of the territory. La rassegna di eventi, incontri con artisti, itinerari e visite nei luoghi del lavoro e della produzione, mira ad esplorare il paesaggio agricolo che in pochi decenni ha “cambiato destinazione d’uso”, con l’intento di valorizzare quello che oggi rimane, prendendo a metafora l’opera del filosofo tedesco T.W. Adorno “Minima Moralia/Meditazioni sulla vita offesa”. The review of events, meetings with artists, tours and visit of the workplace and the production points towards the exploration of the agricultural countryside wich in a few decades has “changed its destination of use”, with the intent to develop the things that have remained as of today-taking the metaphor from T.W. Adorno german philosopher “Minimum morality/Meditation on offended life”F

PAESAGGIO CON UOMINI NEI TEATRI DELLA BRENTA
Un Festival per tre progetti (B-motion, Le Città Palcoscenico, Teatro Festival BIS). 27 anni dalla sua prima edizione, 30 i comuni coinvolti, 400 serate di spettacolo in ltre 2 mesi tra i castelli, le piazze, i parchi e le ville della pedemontana veneta, questi i numeri di Operaestate Festival Veneto da fine giugno ai primi di settembre a Bassano e nelle altre città palcoscenico. In programma quest’anno proposte dedicate al teatro contemporaneo, alla danza internazionale più innovativa, alla musica: lirica, classica, jazz e al cinema d’autore. Un mix di avanguardia e tradizione che è diventato segno distintivo di un Veneto che fa cultura ai massimi livelli. It is a festival which consists of three projects (B-motion, Le Citta’ Palcoscenico, Teatro Festival BIS). It celebrates its 27th anniversary this year, with 30 associated partner towns, 400 shows and events over a period of two months in the castles, historic squares, parks and villas all along the Venetian area at the feet of the Alps. These are the figures of Operaestate Festival Veneto which runs from the end of June to early September, in Bassano and in other stage-cities. This year the scheduled events range from contemporary theatre to the most innovative international dance, auteur cinema and music (opera, classical, jazz). A mixture of avantguard and tradition which has now become the most peculiar feature of a Veneto which promotes culture at its maximum level. Traendo spunto dalla lezione del geografo Eugenio Turri, il progetto coinvolge artisti in una geografiateatro lungo la Brenta e invita gli spettatori a disegnarsi una mappa di emozioni: una sorta di design comportamentale che modifica la percezione degli spazi, li ri-utilizza all’interno di un processo di lenta costruzione d’identità territoriale; condividendo l’esperienza emotiva, creativa e culturale nei luoghi della propria quotidianità. The starting point derives from a geography lesson by Eugenio Turri, the projects involves artists in a geographical-theatre in Brenta and invites the spectatores to design an emotional map: a type of behavioural design that modifies the perception of space, that reused within a process of a slow construction of territorial identity; sharing the emotional experience, creative and cultural places in the daylife.
