Develop cutting-edge coaching techniques, maximize your athletes’ potential, and produce wins. Designed for working coaches, this program offers a convenient, collaborative experience focused on performance, philosophy, and leadership. Ideal for coaches who work with athletes in junior high, high school, or college, as well as coaches employed by not-for-profit, church, or community sports organizations.

Curriculum and Instruction, MAE

Expand your knowledge of teaching. Learn how to build opportunities for your students and improve their learning. As part of your capstone project, design and implement an improvement effort in your school district or organization. Educators designed this program for other educators. You do not need a teaching certificate to enroll in this program.

Special Education, MAE (Learning Behavior Specialist 1)

Help students with special needs achieve their full learning potential. Complete the program in as little as 18 months. Complete an additional clinical practicum and earn your Learning Behavior Specialist I Endorsement, valid for the grade range of a current Illinois teaching license.

Teaching English as a Second Language, MAE

Teach English to individuals for whom English is not their primary language and discover your potential to impact students as you communicate across cultures in diverse contexts. If you hold an Illinois teaching license, you will also complete 100 hours of field experience needed to meet Illinois State Board of Education requirements for ESL approval/endorsement. This program is not an initial licensure program.
